Good afternoon, long time lurker here!!!

Just had to post about Rhodes, I went to Lindos which is beautiful and no cars allowed - generally any pictures you see of Rhodes are pictures of Lindos. I love the whole island apart from Faliraki which is full of teenage clubbers. Any questions feel free to ask and I will do my best

Thanks ladies for Rhodes tips, once grass is mowed, I'll see if there is anything very very cheap going there, mid to end of September.

    I've been food shopping
    Eaten a sandwich

Everywhere has had a good tidy and a quick vacuum, I've also emptied the ironing basket and put it all away and sorted through the spare hangers so they fit in their basket.

Does anyone have any top tips on getting cricket whites clean? DH keeps wicket and hence spends four hours every Saturday flinging himself onto the ground; he had new trousers at the start of the season but they're already bogging. I have tried most proprietary stain removers but they don't help much. I think most of the problem is the soil at their 'home' ground is sandy and stains everything an orangey brown. Dusty?!
  • Hello (waves)

Can't use laptop at home ATM, so am back in library. Thanks Natty and Dusty for lists and love the photos Ionafan and Pigpen.

Feel as if I've got millions of things to do and not enough time to do them in - flying, housework, surveys, applying for jobs together with decluttering and making more paperwork to name but some. Am seriously thinking of making a sort of school timetable so that at least a little of each can be done every day.

Hope to post later in the week - am homeward bound now.

I think I may have used too many spoons today; feeling very dizzy and weak right now. Not sleeping last night probably didn't help.
But I don't see that I've done that much, really, so probably just being pathetic.

Took Jessie Labrador for a walk earlyish (08:30), as she was being picked up at 10:00 to go home.
Did HHWiiFit while waiting for Jessie's "taxi".
Once she'd gone, Dys0ned up 4 cylinder-fulls of black dog hair; also de-gunked the long red hairs (mine) from round the roller.
Made a quiche *(note to self - get Mr LW to grate a bowl of cheese the night before next time - it nearly killed my hands doing this!)
Mowed back lawn ready for the Hairy Hooligans' arrival tomorrow, as the poo was difficult to see to pick up this morning.

I may not get to post tomorrow; if this is the case, don't worry, I aiten't dead.;)
Mr LW is wfh tomorrow, and seeing the consultant for the first time re his hernia at 18:15 tomorrow night. Posi-vibes appreciated; I just want my lovely DH back to normal again.:(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I'm getting to know the Kaiser Chief's music rather better than I wanted to.

Spring cleaning in my office with earplugs coming on slowly. It's preferable to frog-munching.
    Better is good enough.
