Thank you Dusty and Natty for the lists.
Welcome to new and returning Flyladies

Honey Bear, this has just landed in my in-box (2 days after I sent it from my mobile). For you and all declutterers:
    IMG_20140712_101743_zpsd724da45.jpg

I shall be around this week but working mainly from my Toots list. Am also
    - going on a canal boat trip this morning
    - running the last session of my course tomorrow, for which I need to finish the materials
    - have an all-day editorial meeting with my work colleague on Thursday
    - have letters to write and phonecalls to make
    - have a morning meeting in our cathedral city on Friday while DH goes on a canal trip!
    - a full day out with DH on Saturday

Writing this list just threw up a problem with the plans we had made for Frriday, so we can sort that out over breakfast.

We shall not be home long enough for the house to get dirty this week!

We went to a vintage and steam fair yesterday afternoon, and Dh got involved with the judging of the miniature replica traction engines!!! Also popped in to see DS1 and family for half an hour on our way home: DS1 and DDiL1 are desperately tired and longing for the end of term on Friday, then they go away for a week. I realised that we had not seen DGD1+2 since Easter, and they only live 5 miles from us :( so we all had a big cuddle and felt better for it :)

Breakfast calls! Catch you all later. Hope everyone has a good day x

Piggers can you ask your OH where he went which part or is Rhodes all much the same? Hope all went well for yesterday.

They had a car so went everywhere.. I know his dad went last year and they had a fabulous time, I can't find where they went I will ask later when we see them.

Morning all, we have rain, rain and more rain. Really needed it to be dry today. Loads on my list to do with garden but not a hope while the weathers like this. Suppose i'll just have to get on and finish more inside jobs.

So i'll get kids up and fed, get a few things from the shop. Then i'll start gutting the boys wardrobes, found a few more hoodies for DS3 yesterday in the attic which is brilliant because he had very little left. Hopefully i'll find a few more things for him today and get a few more bags sorted for charity bin.

Yorkshirelass, hope your DD's skin is better soon.
Mrs MP I hope the docs give you a straight answer today, nothing worse when you don't know whats happening.
greent hope the chest infection lifts soon x
Lovely photos pigpen, glad it went well.

    Morning all

I've spent an hour tidying and wiping down in the kitchen, sink and floor to be deep cleaned when i get back.

Off to town now to do couple of bits and meet a friend, see you later.

    Hola Flyladies :hello:

Playing catch up after the weekend, skids managed to destroy the entire flat and there are loom bands blinkin' EVERYWHERE

    So far today I have:

    WUDUPA
Cleared the kitchen surfaces and disinfected them
    Shined the sink
    Put the big table away
    Swept the kitchen floor
    Loaded the WM
    Emptied the airer
Washed my makeup brushes (18 of them so took a while)
Scrubbed the bathroom and sparkled it

Still lots to do, ironing is a priority as DH has run out of short sleeves, but I'll do that after lunchtime. Just about to tackle the piles of books and DVDs which have appeared in our bedroom since Friday :o

    Morning all :D

    Pigpen - lovely pics :)

Early start this morning, already been to Mr A and put it away. Got to get on and get the house sorted before workmen/landlady's husband arrives. Might as well do upstairs as well since henry is currently up there. ;)

List for what is left for today:
Sort to-do list for the DIY,
Write priority DIY shopping list (livingroom, lining paper)
    Laundry
    Ironing
    Vacuum
    Dust
    Update finances

    Time to get on

... slides in late. Morning all. Sky and Met Office threatening rain, and OH has put a heavy load through the WM. Music festival that is due tomorrow on The Hoe is doing sound checks - oh joy. A theatre lighting engineer once told me that all sound engineers are deaf, which makes sense. Two days of this would be like the American Govt trying to get Noriega out of the house.

Thank you Ionafan! That made me smile.

Fab children, and lovely to 'watch' them growing up, Pigpen.

Frog-munching in my office again today, and in between episodes of that I'll be spring cleaning it.
    Better is good enough.

Mrs MP I hope the docs give you a straight answer today, nothing worse when you don't know whats happening.

    thanks,
oncology nurse rang me this morning returning the call from message i left her last week, shes going to make sure the surgeon knows mil is in and had the fast heart problem, she hinted surgery might be delayed because of it. just rang ward and dr is with mil atm so have got to ring in an hour to find out what the decision is re staying in again. If shes staying in ive told the staff nurse id like to talk to her this afternoon and told her to expect a call off the oncology nurse or someone from that docs team as they will want it confirming whether mil is able to have surgery this week or not.

been round and done a load of washing for mil and hung that out put all her bedding in so got to nip back later to swap washing over on lines. have tidied, dysoned, clean out fridge and put note out for milk man. i stink of bleach as some washing needed soaking so must remember to take that out and rinse it when i go back or it will fall apart.

need to do some of my stuff now

photos are all lovely pigpen, you have gorgeous children

have emailed the lady im collecting tetrapac cartons for to collect another load off me so ill count that as todays give away.

was annoyed yesterday that Tesc0 have removed their recycling pint from our local shop so cans are no longer worth points GRR

  • I agree - beautiful children Pigpen.

Shattered after getting up early to bake cake - but it has gone down well - and three mad hours sorting and stacking books (we have a sale on this week!) . Need to pop back in to take my sponsor form and some bags so D can take some cake home for his Mum.

Just having fruit for lunch as I had to try the cake to check I wasn't going to poison anyone!!!!!

Then need to do one phone call today and get on here.

Might just sort some rags for c/shop to save me another journey tomorrow.
Thanks for info Lozzy - wil be useful in the bad weather when I won't go for my daily walk.
