I phoned the company and they point blank refused to remove my number, well said they couldn't. So I told them fine, keep calling and I will send you an invoice for my time on a weekly basis. I was getting over 40 calls a week by this point :eek: after the first 2 invoices the calls stopped. The reasonable amount of time I gave them to pay the invoices is just about up too. :cool:
You are officially my hero!:rotfl::rotfl:
40 calls a week though, bloody hell that's mental :eek:
You'll have to keep us up to date on this one :cool:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I went to this club PR thing on Thursday night just off of Carnaby street (they uttered the words 'free drink and a goody bag' and I was powerless to resist) and thought I'd treat my friend who came along to keep me company to a second drink after we finished our free one.
Tip of the hat to the person who can tell me the price of one cocktail in this place (that I did not buy).
I would like to say £17.95 so as to allow a tip from a £20 note but I think over £20:eek:

So are you going to small claims court then :T
Small claims.....who said the bill was small?:rotfl::rotfl:
Yes, I will if it comes to it. Just out of principle, although I reckon they'll pay up. Probably not until I lodge the court papers. They are in all sorts of trouble. OFCOM are investigating them for making unsolicited sales phone calls and they're in trouble for telling people they 'definitely' qualify for a government funded boiler.0 -
Can I ask if anyone knows how much they pay for gas in the summer months.
Inspired by you all to check such things I was surprised that my monthly gas bill for June was almost £70 We only have a gas hob and hot water to rinse dishes No baths only showers Only two of and out most of the day The heating has not been used.
In January when the heating was on it was only £90
Is that about right for the summer ?
Thanks
my quarterly statement for march - june is £90 same situation gas hob + oven, heating not on for last 2 months (log burner in march) 2 of us. so I would say something is definitely not right.0 -
And the winner is.....Nanny :eek:
Couldn't believe it. £11/12 I'm used to at really really reaaaaallly good cocktail bars. Award winning. Ones with dry ice and theatre and knock your head off booze.
These £15 cocktails were like something you'd get in a slug and lettuce (at least the free one was anyway) and full of ice.
We put the menu down and walked away with our goody bags :rotfl:
They actually had a "luxury" meal at one of my pubs the other night... cost £18.95:eek::eek:. Most people weren't going for it... but then I overheard one person order it:eek:. Thing was the bartender explained it wasn't even double size portions - it was the same size but with a few things added. The customer still ordered it. Compared to less than half the price on the normal version. That said - that pub is expensive anyway: doesn't have '2 for 1s' on. But £18.95?!?:eek: (Maybe it's even more expensive dine south?) That 'magic' word "luxury" does work on some people! Pub's description of it of course. It's "luxurious", gives an image of being more valuable and thus worth paying more for. The key word is image, or impression (not reality)! It wasn't even a multi-course meal or anything.0 -
LFAB......what's with Phil's baseball cap? :eek: :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I have just paid £90 for 3 months gas and electric combined. Only me in house, bath every day, gas hob and no heating on last 3 months. I know is correct as supply meter readings.
I am down south but strangely enough with scottish power.
