Can I ask if anyone knows how much they pay for gas in the summer months.

Inspired by you all to check such things I was surprised that my monthly gas bill for June was almost £70 We only have a gas hob and hot water to rinse dishes No baths only showers Only two of and out most of the day The heating has not been used.
In January when the heating was on it was only £90

Is that about right for the summer ?

    Thanks

It's impossible to say Mrsmac as there are lots of variables.
Has your unit cost increased ?Are you actually doing meter readings at the start and end of each month?

That does seem high. Pretty much same sort of usuage as me in summer. Only the hob here and water for dishes and cleaning etc. Our showers are electric. I'm paying about £40 a month in summer months and about £90-£110 in winter when the heating is on (depending on how cold it is) I am heating a lot of house though!
It was a lot more before I got a new boiler/heating system installed last year.

I agree it is a huge amount. The government have a scheme for free boilers for people on specific benefits, it maybe helpful for some to have a look at this scheme as it should reduce bills

    Good Afternoon :)

Glad to be home from mums sarcy comments  yesterdays was do I wear my EMU's at home. Answer no I wear my slippers :) Mums answer well don't wear them here  So I am determined that's last time I wear EMU's for mums. Had crocs on today only wear the same pair when I go mums don't want her saying how many pairs of crocs do I need ;)

Today she told Poppy I do hoovering and dusting quick. So next week I will take longer by going over same place again and again lol .

When my mum has a pop at me I take great pleasure in doing whatever she is being sarcastic about twice as much! My mother always has to find something to be sarky about so there is little point in me changing anything because she would only find something else anyway!

Wear your Emus with pride and tell your Mum you've cut your cleaning time in half so you have more time to do whatever will annoy your mother the most!:eek: :D:D:D
