Some of those dresses are just the sort of thing I had in mind! Amazing; thank you!

You're welcome :) They can be ordered at fairly short notice, and if you had a seamstress lined up to do any alterations (allow a couple of weeks for that) then you could turn it around pretty quickly.

I would also go ahead. Our baby will be 6 months old when we get married. Especially when younger they don't do much and there are plenty babysitters available who can take turns. We will also have a 3.5 year old by then which will be the bigger challenge.

I bought my dress 8 months pregnant in one size bigger then i was before. Now baby is 3months old and I might have to have the dress taken in. I got mine because it was only £110 in the BHS sale down from 400 and the one I wanted since we got engaged. But you could leave it closer to the time as there is no reason to have it months before the wedding.

boobs will be bigger and your hips and ribs may widen permanently (as my may your feet) so allow for that - I was back in a size 8 7 days after giving birth BUT my hips and back have remained wider five years on which affects how old dresses fit.

I didn't know that could happen!

OP get yourself over to the weddings board for some good moneysaving ideas and tips, weddings don't have to cost the earth, especially with a new baby!

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)

I just thought I'd come back and do a little update because we've recently found out we're expecting twins!

At least that means one baby for each set of grandparents at the wedding :)

Oh how exciting. That is wonderful news. Huge congratulations to you both :)
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
