Yep, great idea Morrisons, your new business plan to tackle the rise of Lidl and Aldi is really fresh and adventurous.
Perhaps a little attention too though to fruit and veg that is very short in best before dates, ICT that could perhaps work on a week to week basis, actually stocking items that you have promotions on and deciding if you want to have a delivery service or not?
Just wait too for the inundation of claims from shoppers whose cars have been bumped by loose trolleys.
Morrisons, run by a senior management team who think the Co-op are go-getters.0 -
Our local ASDA trolleys have do not have locks.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

Those "you're better off at ASDA" adverts annoy me. Even more reason why I won't set foot in one of their stores.0

Me too. When they first started they would show a product and show how it was cheaper than Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys and Waitrose.
But now they usually only mention that it is cheaper than 1 other supermarket. So that must mean that is is not cheaper than the others, otherwise they would mention it.
It also shows that they soon ran out of products that are cheaper in asda than all of the other big supermarkets.0 -

One with the strawberries they show how they are cheaper at £1.50 at ASDA but not at Tesco, Morrisons or Sainsburys where they are £2. But they don't mention that they are on 2 for £3 at Morrisons and they are British strawberries. Last I heard the ASDA ones were Spain.0 -
What a relief - not having a handy pound in my pocket was such a pain (and, crucially! it made me buy a lot less of heavy stuff those days!)
PS kudos for lower prices too!0 -
I thought it was old news? Our local store did it weeks ago, I assumed all stores had?0

I never understand why people just don't buy a trolley token and stick it in their purse - you can't spend it, so it's always there.0

Me neither, I work for a diy store and have 27 tokens. I collect them when people leave them in the trolleys. They come in handy as people often come back and say they have left their token in the trolley and ask if anyone handed it in. I just give them one from my collection and they go away happy.0
