Thank you brizzled - I need all the encouragement that I can - this is going to be a long road!

Today is a day out in London with friends. The tickets were paid for from last pay packet ad I have allocated £160 for the rest - tube / taxis, afternoon tea, drinks and spends. However I have only taken £135 cash in my purse so hoping to have some change in the budget. The trouble is London is sooooooo expensive!

A small earn yesterday - £6 for some old magazines. I just knew that they would come in useful - and more space decluttered.

Thank you again! Currently I'm sat in Covent garden for a breather - about to meet up with friends for afternoon tea. Spending has been restrained to an unusual card, some wooden buttons , a drink and some crisps. Around £12:25 in total which is fab for me. The afternoon tea will cost £40
    - we're treating two colleagues which has pushed the bill up- and then will sort something for tea. I have also spent £ 8,60 on a tube ticket for the day so am hoping to come in at a total cost of around £80 / which would've approx half of budget set - you never know!

It was a beautiful day Seasidegal - you're right - it was certainly the right weather. All in all the day cost me around £80 so I am in pocket - just as well as my other vice is fabric and I'm going to my favourite store next Tuesday - at least this way I have some funds for the visit but will try to save some for the od - honest!!

Anyway off to bed now -tomorrow (which is today given the time ) is another day - as they say!!

Well done on having fun and yet being so low below your usual budget. Excellent news x

Thank you brizzledfw - it was a fab day. the only trouble is that I feel so tired today.

However - true to my pleadge I have:-

    1. Listed 5 items on ebay
    2. Prepared a recording sheet for this £150 consulting job - which I hope to complete over the weekend to get it out of the way and whilst I am still in frenetic work mode - the more I wind down the harder it will be.
    3. Volunteered for a recording job which pays around £10 - they may have too many volunteers however - I will need to be patient on that one.
    4. Sewn some more of a wedding present for my niece in November.
    5. Had a freezer tea - Yorkshire puds, portion of minced lamb and the remains of a tin of potatoes from the fridge plus some fresh veg.
    6. Registered and read my Noddle report - its not a disaster but there's definitely room for improvement with my credit score. That gives me a starting point. I want to work towards a 0% CC so that I can pay the debt off more quickly.

So - nothing major but all positive steps towards the debt busting. I would love to raise £300 towards my debt repayment this month -even though it is an expensive month.

PS - just opened my coin tin - one of those from poundland that you have to cut into - a whopping £58.60! I am really chuffed with that! On the cruise its all inclusive - but there's always extras to fund / avoid! I'm thinking that if I manage to accrue £200 that should cover / attempt to cover the on board extras - I have already saved up the off board spends. I'm realistic to know that you can go overboard (pardon the pun) and that you need a cc as back up - but it would be a real first to come back knowing that you had the cash to pay the cc bill off! I spoke to someone who regularly goes on a cruise who said that se paid her bill off as she went - I might try that tactic and take some dollars - but need to investigate further!

Well - I have been chained to this chair since 7am and, whilst the sun blares down outside, I have managed to:-

    1. Earn £150 by completing the consultation project. It needs to be emailed by the 4th so I will look through it once more just to make sure that I've earnt the cash.
    2. Earned £10 by recording 450 messages.
    3. Earned 10p by signing up to qmee - just wished I could see how it works.
    4. Signed up to a new survey site from Tesco - https://www.shopperthoughts.com They seem to pay for surveys with clubcard points / cash - you choose which one you would rather have.

So - all in all - not a bad day. Just need to sit back and wait for the cash to roll in and go towards the od - well - I've had the 10p but now need to wait for the £160!

Now - knee length lawn here I come!

Afternoon - nothing major to report in terms of fund raising today - well you could hardly match yesterday's efforts!

    However I have:-

    1. defrosted the freezer and made a list of the contents which will help with the food budget
    2. Cleaned out the fridge and checked dates etc - prior to a small shop tomorrow. I have £38 of this week's budget left until Friday and need some essentials.
    3. Gone through my cruise wardrobe and made a list - cant you tell that i'm a list person? This has made me realise what exactly I have already and how little I need to buy next Friday when its last minute shopping time!
    4. Made my friend a present - a passport cover for our hols from my fabric stash.
    5. Earned 12p from qmee.

All in all a productive day - working towards the same end - ditching those bills. Looking at my efforts so far I am targeting Christmas to wipe off my overdraft. The od may be the smallest % of my debts but I really want to be in the black at the end of each month - psychologically that should work for me.
