Took a couple of DVDs down to CEX to sell on Friday. The guy behind the counter looked at me and said 'oh it's only 70p'.

ONLY 70p?! ONLY? I'll have you know that 70p was added to my burgeoning pot of monies!

I smiled and said 'well I'm 70p up (the DVDs were free in a goody bag) and they're not cluttering up my house anymore'

A total of £1.82 potted in recent days.

It's never too late to join, 9 weeks saving is 9 weeks more than no weeks saving.

A good day had by me today, potted the fiver from homemade lunch :T
....and also printed some supermarket vouchers they sent me whilst I was on holiday (£35 in total :T ) don't you just so love FREE money :rotfl::rotfl:
.... so a fiver saved from that too - I'm going to put that in a separate sealed pot for now for something housey and have also decided to save in the said same pot any money's from offers etc that they say you have saved on the bottom of the receipt to see how much I can get before Xmas

Good morning, not been on much lately, been away on holiday and been busy busy. having new bathroom and shower room fitted. I have been popping my loose change in my pot on a regular basis, when we came back from a few days away, I had £3.00 left in my purse from holiday spends so it went straight into my pot. Hopefully im getting near my target as time is creeping up fast towards opening day. Iv decided that if I have gone over my target Im going to leave the surplus in my pot to give me a flying start for next year. Can wait to hear what everyone is doing with their hard earned savings come 26th November. Bye for now x

OMG, not been on for a long time and i thought i had lost you all then to my relief found the part 2, phew
been potting slowly and getting excited now, getting closer to the deadline, hope i have made it somewhere near my target.
