Another gold star for you, 32b3, thanks for assuring Otto that it's never too late. :staradmin

No worries, Sara_uk1, I'm really pleased, benten, sorted you out. Welcome back and many thanks, ben!!

With the £2 coin weighing 12g which is the greatest value per gram of any coin (£1 coin is 9.5g & 50p is 8g according to the royal mint website) that means that if we had 6340g worth of £2 coins at 12g each you would have around £1056. forums.moneysavingexpert.com

That I'll take you word for, ben, metric and I really don't get on well. Thanks for the help though and it's so good to see you hell bent on keeping your savings up! Please see the thanks above for Sarah's No, ben, and a well-earned gold star for you also! :staradmin

It's lovely to see you back with us, Meowhouse, and I'm so chuffed you had such a wonderful time. :D

Good to see you too, getting-there-slowly.

Over £900 now and into my last £100 - well pleased.
I'll start bagging up at £950 and see what coins I need to match up for weighing in.

Good grief, Lynsey, you're doing brilliantly, much to be proud of in November....just as last year, I'm sure. :j

A good idea to leave the surplus in your pot for next year, cattysmum, it's great to see so many folk planning ahead with saving rather than spending. :D

Nice to see you show up, smiffy, and don't fret as we'll never leave you behind on the Part 1 thread, there's always a link put on for everyone.

£30 left in my purse and £53 left in the bank, payday is Friday, paid £40 deposit for caravanning trip at half term, so only £28 balance to pay on that, really looking forward to it, I love being in the woods in Autumn, its more beautiful than summer, the only downside is it gets dark early.

I quite agree, moohound, though be it any season...it's just beautiful! :grinheart

    Well saved again, Kerry!

That a girl, Helen, always rise above it - aside from that...where's the point in not doing so! :j

Well done with your machine, jakes-mum, your sales as well!!!

£10 cadged saved from hubby, a bit of a ruse and naughty I know, but what can I say! :rotfl:

Have a GREAT weekend, folks, keep on saving hard....as there are only 9 weeks to go!! forums.moneysavingexpert.com

Aw, they are so part of your family and it is hard when you have to say goodbye.

They say when you die and go to heaven all the cats and dogs you have loved and lost come running to greet you….
