96p potted! Another shaking job.
Thinking about changing some of it up and putting in an envelope rather than buying another pot but that does mean knowing what my minimum total will be two months early. Hmmm!Debt free 6th December 2014

Sue-UU - so pleased you had a good hol!
I've tipped out all the 20p pieces we had in an (now) unused piggy bank and have banked £10 of them today - the rest have gone into my sealed pot, ready for the end of Nov. Plus a £10 note my dad gave me.... so I banked £20 today. Current banked total on my spreadsheet is showing at £85! :j :j So delighted that I have a minimum of £85 (have popped it in my sig). I can barely believe it as I *thought* I'd only have £20 when I started last Nov/Dec!

Evening all!! Am slightly shaken, at teatime ds announced he'd seen his old taxi driver - oh, was that at the station I ask (ds is supposedly going on the bus). He has learning difficulties and Asperger's but the authority say he's travel trained. No, apparently it was 2 miles from the bus stop - ds bus had been late (assume he'd waited all of 2 minutes), thought he would be late for college and so walked, fortunately? he'd been spotted by someone he knew and taken there - he has cerebal palsy too. Lots of this concerns me, not least that at no point he thought of ringing me!! In some ways I am pleased that he made decisions for himself which shows he is coming along, but......
Anyway, on a potting note - £1.60 for the tin!! Definitely becoming a challenge getting them in, but where there's a will there's a way!!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0 -
Aww,bless you AlwaysHappy. That must have been a worry for you, even though by the time he told you,it was all over and he was home safe
.It is lovely he is trying to be independent, but like you say,you just wish they would phone sometimes.

Morning all.
50p coin road-kill last night and that's my final 50p. Thanks to whoever dropped that.
Also 2 x £1 coins potted, so £2.50 last night.
I'm hoping for another £5 by tomorrow night.
Keep potting away, the end is getting nearer. lol
