IMPORTANT NEWS!!!!!!! Personally I think it will be better for all if the count-up date was a little earlier in future as most of us try to get our Christmas shopping done a good deal earlier than the end of November. So.....how do folk feel about changing the date to Thursday the 5th November from 2015 onward??? The starting date will, as always, be the day after.

Please keep this news quoted in posts so everyone gets chance to see!

    Many thanks all, Sue xx

I love this idea, and not just because I'm rediculously impatient for pot opening day :rotfl: all the good deals on Christmas food in the supermarkets seem to be in November (morries 2 for £7 sweet tins etc) and if you don't have extra money in your budget (ie your pot IS your Christmas food/prezzies fund) your missing out on getting these.

    :D

EDIT: P.S Sue, if you want to bring forward THIS years opening day just let me know :D :rotfl:

  • Hi all, I've found this thread from a post on the main dfw board and wondered if I could join when it starts again as it looks like I missed the boat on this one. If someone could point me in the right direction of the new thread/where I should be posting this, that would be great :) thanks x

    Welcome Flutterby.
You can join this thread at any time of the year - so you could join today and just carry on over into our next year which starts at end of November. It is planned like that as many people use it to save for Chrissy but you can save for whatever you want.

If you want to join just post on here again saying that you are wanting to join in the fun and our Sue-UU will come past and allocate you a number. I suggest you read the first post on the thread thoroughly at it explains everything. Also it's easy to stay in touch if you use the thread tools to subscribe to thread and have a reminder sent daily.

Hope to see you here soon and good luck with the saving ;)
