"Sealed Pot Challenge" ~ 7 ~ Part 2

Went to my bank to get coin bags ready for count up day and was told that I could only deposit 3 bags for an adult account or 5 for a child's one per day so the maximum they could give me was 5 measly bags!! and they wonder why I changed my regular account to another bank.
Anyway I went to another bank that I use for a community centre committee accounts only to be told they had none left but since I'm treasurer they would hold a load over for me to pick up on Monday or Tuesday to save me calling in each day to see if they have got them in
Starting to get very excited to count my tin contents and can't wait to start next years ones, I've even had a good look at tins available.

Well my friend gave me £17 of the £18 she owes me and now she owes me an extra 30p so £1.30 to get from her. She asked me to remind her but there is every chance I will forget too!!

Just totted up and I have £17.15 to go in today!!

I have NO idea WHAT your talking about :whistle: Though the lovely SPC'ers certainly did step up and help me out tremendously

Pfft, that teller was obviously not an SPC'er, who could cope with only 5 bags :eek: My bank last year gave me so many i've still got more than enough for this year and probably next year as well! . . . but im not sure if thats because she was overly exuberant or she remembered me lugging in all my change the year before :think: :rotfl:

6p found on the side, obviously been abandoned by its owner so I felt it was the charitable thing to do to pop it in the pot to stay warm

Can't wait to start all over again for next year!

Bought 2 advent calendars today so the remaing pennies in my purse have went into my pot!

hello all,
looking forward to counting up soon,even though I only joined you a couple of months ago. I've been doing well with NSDs, but this has meant I don't have much change to pot . But reading the thread has motivated me to head off round the house in search of coins. Wish me luck!

Can I join the challenge if my pot (Pringles can in my case!) opening day is different to that set in the challenge?

I've been doing the SP for 3 years now after seeing it on here, but I have mine running from the first Sunday in November to the last Sunday in October

Potted £7 today and I have 'found' £3.40 in a jacket pocket. Not sure where it came from but I know where it's going on Sunday if I don't remember where it came from :laugh:
