Potted £9 add one thing or other last night. I wrote it in my hand which was a silly idea. No money tins in the pound store so got a couple of pringle pots to recycle :)

I can't physically lift my tins so going to have to declare my hiding place to the boyfriend. Oh dear.

could you push the pot over and roll it and then sit on the floor and count it? Of course this won't work if the pot isn't round or if your hiding place is down a hole!!

    NB everyone!
Unlike sparky I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE ANY BANKED AMOUNTS FROM YOUR SIGS
, I'm trusting that you'll all be able to give me the entire sums you've saved when you declare on the 27th. Thanks a lot folks. :)

Just incase anyone missed it, remember to declare ALL your savings on count up day not just what you've saved since your last banking as Sue doesn't have access to sparkys running spreadsheet :D

  • Hi Sue and chums

I haven't been on here as much as I would like lately (we had run out of broadband allowance  ) but I have been steadily potting to increase the surprise element on opening day :j

Thanks so much Sue for the lovely cake and birthday wishes yesterday :) Pull up a chair everyone...plates are ready and the kettle on :D I can't believe I am 65, I still feel 30 something until I look in the mirror :rotfl::rotfl:

I haven't yet caught up with posts but we seem to have lots of new members. WELCOME!

Crumbs that is very inventive! Have you done that before, 32b3? :rotfl:

Have a lovely day everyone, not long to go now!

I haven't been potting as much as I would have liked recently. Either the coins have gone into my holding tin which I've then raided or I simply have overlooked raiding my wallet for spare coins and notes.

I have been tempted to raid/open recently as I've been having computer issues but have resisted for the moment. I see pot opening day is less than month away which is exciting although part of me wants to keep saving until the tin is full / or until the middle of next year when my OH has a special birthday.

    Hmmm decisions decisions.

I haven't been on for a while, it has been great reading about everyone's successes. Sending safe and squidy hugs to all those who accept.

Still potting away, yesterday I potted a cheeky £9.62 some was a train fare that I budgeted for but I got a lift and some money left over from my night out.

SO EXCITED ABOUT OPENING THE POT!!! :)

DH gave me a £2 coin :D into the £2 coin tin it has gone!

We are currently at loggerheads in the jakesmum household, DH says that next year we should not have seperate tins, I say that those lovely £2 coins are deserving of their own tin and it is close to blasphemy to try and say they are not special and thus only worthy of potting with all the other coins!

I now require backup from my SPC buddies that I am (as always) right, and he is oh so very wrong and to be quiet and leave me to my happiness
