If you have such a poor relationship with your mother why on earth would you allow her credit in your name !
There's obviously a back story if she won't let you into her house.I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Go round there and steal the remote.
Then send her a ransom note for £48."I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -
Go on the roof, cut the prongs off her aerial (or the LNB off the at dish).
Send the prongs through the post one at a time.0 -
Long story short
Mother wanted a new TV so she asked us if she could get one from our Littlewoods catalogue. So we agreed only if Mother would pay from her bank the monthly installments. Everything was going great until we recieved a letter from Littlewoods advising us that the last payment was refused and because of this Littlewoods have added a admin fee of 15 pounds.
I called Littlewoods and they said even though it is not us who have defaulted on payment we need to sort this out. unfortunately Mother has decided to ignore phone calls and text from us regarding this issue.
My question is I am just going to have to pay this off and put this down to experience or is there anything else I can do because this is totally out of order?
many thanks in advance
My Mum wanted a TV for the bedroom, so I ust bought her one for her xmas pressie, after all she has had to chang my sh***y nappies many years ago and without charge.
Is the bill £48 per month or just an outstanding balance? If it's an outstanding balance then jus pay up and put it down to experience.0 -
except it....pay it off....move on!!!
Thanks for all your advice (some of it any way)!!!0 -

Yep no magic wands -terrible eh
You chose to enter into a credit agreement knowing your Mum is either a flake or that there was a risk if you had a falling out she wouldn't pay ..........and you are blaming the nanny state when told you made a legal agreement with Littlewoods and they expect you to adhere to it. Too funny !
Do you actually understand what the phrase "Nanny State" means ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
