Yep no magic wands -terrible eh

You chose to enter into a credit agreement knowing your Mum is either a flake or that there was a risk if you had a falling out she wouldn't pay ..........and you are blaming the nanny state when told you made a legal agreement with Littlewoods and they expect you to adhere to it. Too funny !

Do you actually understand what the phrase "Nanny State" means ?

I assumed by "Nanny State" they were meaning those people who suggested they just let the mother off the money she owed.

(Still not an accurate use of the phrase, mind)

It will probably trash your credit score, but tell Littlewoods where it is & tell them to recover it.

Pay it off , never do another favour for her and don't call around at Christmas to see her. See who comes running first !

No Birthday cards etc too. Is she going through any upheaval/ mental illness at present?

Mothers can act silly as they get older. Mine is moaning that we are all going away on holiday and she is stuck in the house. But she wont go out for days out and she has refused to go on holiday with one of us !

Your thread title is incorrect. It's YOUR Littlewood's bill, and YOU have to pay it.

Whether you choose to pursue your mother is up to you. I assume you have a written contract with her...
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.
