What a nasty day outside - glad to be at work where it is dry and warm inside.... and someone else is paying to heat it!
Managed to start present shopping over the weekend - only a few presents as the CC will have to be paid by 11th Dec, so it makes sense to buy the majority starting tomorrow, so they are due for payment in January. I find that once you buy the first couple, the rest start falling into place. I doubled up some N3ct4ar points for one, the other 3 were on offer - so not too bad!
2 fleabay items sold over the weekend netting about £6.10. Have shuffled that money over.
Cashed out £5.10 from TCB and £1.07 from Q.co.
Available balance in Pro.Ac has gone up... still not cleared that magical £20.00 yet though!
Went to see an independent mortgage man on Sat - how thoroughly depressing... although we did qualify for HTB up to £70,000 and a mortgage at £264,000 + 5% deposit from us. GULP! Not sure about buying a new-build though... and not happy about that level of HTB hanging over us... but that is really what you need where we are to by a 3 bed house with a garage and garden the size of a postage stamp. Food for thought - there are plenty of new builds going up here so no real hurry.. although the longer we leave it the more expensive it becomes and the shorter the mortgage term is because OH is an old F4rt!!

Have been paid - money moved around as necessary.
2 fleabay items sold - bringing net profit for the month to £43.18 (not to bad for 7 items).

Finally had to buy a festive present with no cashback or additional discount - very disappointed, but did buy it from the best priced place!

Nothing new happening on fleabay - re-listed one item last night so that will sit there on BIN until it sells. OH seems to think it would be great to always have a minimum of 10 items for sale and to make more money..... Like I have time!!!

I am off work this weekend so I am sure that there will be some traipsing around, aimlessly looking for festive present inspiration ... this usually ends with OH and I getting the hump with each other!! I will make a HIT-LIST of where we need to go and what for. A good list is the only way to try and survive such a shopping trip!
