Another 3 fleabay items have just sold in the last 10 mins!!

I'm gonna be rich I tell ya... RICH!! lol

(don't worry, I am sure the novelty will wear off soon and I won't be boring you all about it - and being RICH is a long way away yet!!)

And it has just been announced that the Supreme Court has denied the airline its appeal.... Flight delay compensation claim back on!!

Oh, and if anyone reading this is needs help with their claim, there are plenty of helpful guides and people over on the relevant thread to assist you. Unless you are really stuck (and it is suggested by the people on the thread) there really is NO NEED to use a company to submit your claim!

Ever sit back and wonder why you bother?

OH just called me at work to ask if there was space on the CC for him to buy an iMac computer.

Erm..... no!! (well, there probably is space - but he's not having one!!)

One auction and one B.I.N item sold yesterday, quite late at night, so it will be the PO today... and tomorrow!

OH didn't get his imac (nor will he for a long time!)

Right, it's Monday morning... better do some work!

Today, I will mainly be a post lady!!

7 items sold yesterday-so at lunchtime today I will be holding the queue up in the PO!

All good though in the realms of making some money. Need to find some more stuff to go on now - only 4 active items at the moment. Must keep going!!! :O)

Hi All!

Well its that time of the week again. UPDATE DAY!!

Everything is doing what it should be doing! YAY! Shame there isn't just a bit more of it doing it! Ho-hum - you can only do what you can do with what you've got!

Ebay is still ticking over - about 7 items on there currently with more to go on over the weekend. Selling has slowed down a little, which is nice to be fair as it now means that I am not spending every hour at home parcelling things up! So far I have only had one item not sell - not too worried as it was definitely worth what it was up for! I may well re-list closer to Crimbo.

I have created an extra page in my spreadsheet to track what has been sold, postage costs and net money made. Oh, the little pleasures in life!

Next week will be my '50 payments to go' milestone! Would whoop with excitement - but I have been here before and the novelty has most definitely worn off!

Right, I need to plough on with my work - my weekend off work and I really don't want to come back to this pile on Monday!

Sounds like you've had a productive week, slow and steady sales are the way to go! Even if you've been there before, 50 payments to go is still a good number to reach! Well done!

Happy wet, miserable weather Monday everyone!

We have had the mother of all storms here since about midnight... slowly rolling back and forth along the coast. Needless to say, everyone at work is a little on the tetchy side this morning - me included!! lol

Another 3 items sold on fleabay over the weekend - off to the PO again today.. at this rate I will be their best customer!

It thundered and lightning'd here until lunchtime yesterday - and then I got soaked going to the PO! Great!!

Now, I have been thinking... den-den-dennnnn! I still haven't organised setting aside money to cover such annual payments for things like my car tax. I then lump it all on a CC and then scrabble around to find the money to cover it, which means finding £180 extra in the space of 4 weeks for my car tax.... and it just doesn't happen, I end re-borrowing money from OH, and I find myself where I am today... re-clearing cleared debt! So, having seen online that you can now pay for your car tax monthly by DD I am wondering if, for next year anyway, this is the way forward. Ok, so it will cost me an extra £9 over the course of the year for the privilege, but it will mean that I "streamline" my finances and not have a big peak of money to find / borrow.
£9 a year =
£0.75 a month =
£0.17 a week =
£0.025 a day.

So - there we have it! I think as of April, this is what I will do. Anyone disagree?
