Post Office Mortgage

So I've also started to apply with the post office and have found the following:
01/9/14 Applied over the phone
05/9/14 KFI received
15/9/14 Application sent with payslips and P60 (at the request of the advisor)
18/9/14 Spoke to Underwriter, paid for homebuyers report and confirmed more documentation needed.
No clue how long it is going to take from this, but applying directly does appear to speed things up a bit. After reading this forum last week I'd thought I'd be waiting months to be at this stage!0 -

Got my mortgage offer two weeks ago, signed & returned the mortgage deed and I haven't heard anything since from The Post Office or my broker.
I complete next Thursday, my solicitor has told me The Post Office have already confirmed they will release the funds to them on Wednesday.
When should I expect a mail from The Post Office regarding first mortgage repayments etc? Or have I missed out on some post?0 -

Fingers crossed our process goes smooth as we received corrected documents this week.0 -
Did anyone complain after eventually receiving their mortgage? It took so long and there were numerous problems along the way but eventually we got one so that's what counts.0

I don't intend on making a complaint in all honesty as it appears the back log has cleared now.
I'm more concerned around the solicitors I've been directed to from the PO... (Naming no names)
Time scales are abysmal......0 -
Posted a full application last Tuesday, haven't heard anything at all since. Starting to worry, would have hoped for a text or e-mail or something by nowChanging the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0
