You could maybe put a couple of different types of cereal out too that people could just help themselves to. Also a Spanish omelette cooked the day before is gorgeous cold the day after, just cut into wedges. That way they can still have eggs!

My own time hangover cure is a chocolate milkshake

Seriously op if these are drinkers, they won't want hydration doobries -redbull, lucazade and coke or lemonade will sort them Mars bars also help big time

You don't need to be a short order cook. Above the sausages and fadge in the oven on low. Beans in a pot and leave the toaster out

Can you do porridge in a slow cooker? I'd of thought it something you could just make and leave on the low setting for them to help themselves to. Make a load of toppings available.

Another vote for tortilla....hot or cold, cheese, ham, pickles, chutney, good bread and jam, jugs of water and juice, pots of tea and coffee, bowl of apples, oranges and bananas, all laid out for selfservice, and a smiling hostess who will sit and chat while they compliment you on your cooking skills......the term in this house for this kind of entertaining was SOS...stretch or starve!

Cold pizza. I love cold, leftover pizza more than the night before.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

I did used to drink! And I never did any of these!

My friends are drinkers its true, and I agree, a fry up is the natural provision the next day, hence sounding out wise old stylers for alternative plans not just pushing forward regardless. But as well as being drinkers, one is an athlete, one is a dancer, a few are married, only one carries extra weight, most are foodies. I think if I gave them Mars bars they'd be both worried about me and a little put out! :o

Tortillas are something else I just hadn't thought of.:)

I'm guessing by everyone not commenting about them that everyone is politely dismissing savoury muffins as naff, girly and just 'don't do it lostinrates'. :D:rotfl:

Oh no Lostinrates, I just don't like muffins ;) I love the croissants idea (fatty is always good!), Fruit salad is also nice. I have a friend who will hunt high and low for a big watermelon when hungover!
