    Hi guys, me again.

As yet I have not had a response to my letter to the court asking for a further extention of the ordered stay, I wrote on the 11th July.

What would my next move be? Not due to recieve anything from POPLA until on or after 12th August which runs beyond the initial stay of 1 month

Will look into that tomorrow, thanks Dee. Certainly don't want to risk simply waiting until August 12th or later. The letter was definitely received by the court because I hand delivered it myself

Rang today, apparently a letter was going out today but she couldn't tell me it's contents. Is that cause for concern or just standard practice? Surely it only makes sense to agree to my request for an extension bearing in mind how close we are to a POPLA decision?

Further 6 week stay, also reminded the claimant of their obligation in relation to the Beavis appeal case.

On or before September 9th the claimant must notify the court the claim is settled or either party must write to request a further stay with an update and identifying mediators with all parties in agreement.

All being well i'm just over a week away from hearing positive news from POPLA, should that arrive what normally follows after?

Nothing follows after a successful POPLA decision! Do we take it you've not received any 'POPLA evidence' from ParkingEye? Sounds like they may not defend - which is common for PE.

Also be aware that POPLA seem to be running a couple of weeks late, just to make you sweat!

Thanks for the information, no evidence from PE no.

I know PE have to inform the judge re the claim, think I will write to the judge once the outcome is known too anyway. Do PE have to end me anything? Think i'm sure i've read people asking for a withdrawal notice or something like that? Also thought i'd read advice asking for compensation for the time to defend or did I dream this? After everything I want to do more than win, I wanna teach them as much of a lesson I can so that maybe it contributes toward them changing their approach to how they deal with people parking on land that is managed by them.

You've taught me well Coupon :D

Contacting the court soon after you win at POPLA will be a good plan. And you could ask PE for confirmation the hearing has been vacated and the claim withdrawn, once the case is won at POPLA. If they try to tell the Judge the claim has been 'settled' then that's a lie and you could have fun with it like this recent case:

    4/6/14 3JD05453 PE v Scott, South Shields

PE had to pay nearly £150 for lying that a case was 'settled' when in fact they withdrew it! OP threatened to send in the bailiffs!
