    Thats brilliant, i'll read the latter stages of the guide just in case. That the only example of being able to claim costs then if it doesn't get to court?

    That was a case where the defendant put in a counter claim for expenses, so it did 'go to court', and the defendant was awarded their costs.

    Received emails today from both POPLA & PE, appeal allowed and then very soon after PE email confirming charge cancelled.

    Next week I will write to the court with print out's of these but believe only PE can withdraw the claim, is that correct?

    Also have I read in the past it's good to complain to DVLA & useful to update a separate thread here with the POPLA decision?
