Evening ladies and welcome to the thread Sophie8, grapesicle and Elizabeth Braun. :)

I have a couple more small use ups to report from my July Project Pan list: Calvin Klein Escape Body Lotion sachet 10ml and Calvin Klein Escape Bath and Shower Gel sachet 10ml. These were freebies but I have no idea where I got them from and I can't remember how long I have had them.

I really enjoyed using the shower gel - I'm not even sure there was as much as 10ml in the sachet (I estimated as it wasn't stated on the sachet) but it lasted me two showers with my shower lily. It smelt subtle but fresh and lathered really well. I wouldn't buy it but would happily use it again if gifted.

The body lotion was a different story as I suspect it was probably past its best. It still smelt fine but was incredibly runny and a yellowy colour. I wouldn't buy this as I prefer thicker creams or body butters.
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/

    Hi all!

I'm just back from a lovely 11 nights in Ibiza where I managed to use up the following:

Kerastase Bain Satin Shampoo 180ml : I liked this but doubt I'd buy again at full price. Smell a bit 'old-ladyish'.

Kerastase Nutrivive Conditioner 75ml - Again, liked this, but doubt I'd buy again due to price.

Simple Radiance Eye Make Up Remover Pads - repurposed as 'on-the-go' face wipes for sweaty faces/places on holiday! WNBA

Clarins Daily Energizer Gel x 2 5ml - fine to use on holiday, pretty much the same as any other face wash. WNBA

Elemis Pro Collagen Cleansing Balm 30g - Love this. Have some other minis in stash. I am bad at 'portion control' when I have a full size of this however!

Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist 100ml - repurposed as a general 'cool down/freshen up' spray during humid evenings on holiday at night. WNBA as I didn't feel it 'did much' for me.

Elemis Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules - lovely to use after a day in the sun. WMBA

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask (2 pods) - me and OH used these on our last night. This stuff is good but an absolute nightmare to get off. Other face masks just as effective. WNBA

Body Shop Moringa Shower gel 250ml - lovely smell and very foamy. Great scent for holiday - enjoyed using this. WBA

Elemis Skin Nourishing Body Scrub 50ml x 2 - This is hard scrubbing stuff! Doesn't smell of much, good size to use on hol. WNBA, Soap and Glory do very similar.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Oil x 2 10ml - Lovely to use on legs/arms/chest on an evening out. WNBA full size as I'd never get through it.

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Perfume Sample - lOVE LOVE LOVE this and will DEFINITELY be purchasing!!

    Some throw outs:
Label M Sea Salt Spray 50ml - just didn't get along with this, made my hair sticky, tangled and just urgh.

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray 50ml - as above!

Phew that list is bigger than I thought! Proud of myself and best of all - no INS!!

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.
  • I've got my monthly round up of UU's

5x sachets of Nivea in shower moisturiser, i used them up but i won't be buying any of the in shower range, i have too many out of shower things to uu and i felt this dried my skin.

2x Schwarzkopf colour mask conditioners, came with hair dye but didn't really do much

Garnier pure active facial scrub, great to begin with but i found after a few uses it was more a burning than tingling and it started to hurt

No7 protect and perfect night cream, i swear by No7 and this was no different, it did everything i wanted from a night cream so when i've used all my other potions up i'll be repurchasing

Whish body lotion, lovely scent but expensive for the amount and i have so many others

Pantene aqua light conditioner, great for after swimming so i may repurchase on offer, my hair is so heavy and thick it doesn't add any weight

Nivea creme care shower cream, i really didn't like this, it was drying, didn't smell great and didn't last long enough for me

Rituals foaming shower gel, great smell but not enough in a bottle and too expensive for my needs

Spa bath salts, old and from the back of a cupboard, no idea where they came from or where to buy them but they did the job

danni waterproof eyeliner....useless! dried out within a week, hard to apply and not something i'd try again

Vichy Liftactiv, i love this stuff, it's firming, lifting and so nourishing on my skin, if i had spare cash i'd definitely buy some of this

Dream matte mousse, second jar of this gone, not for me but i will use them up! one left them i'm done with Maybelline foundation

5x 2ml perfume samples, none stood out so onto the other 50 :)

All in all i've not used up anything exciting except the Vichy tube so i'm glad it's all gone.

I've got some In's but not many and i'll add them to next months list

    Happy Thursday everyone xx

Hello, this is a flying visit to declare my UUs/INs etc.

I hope everyone's well? I am massively busy atm as blokie is having a party at the weekend to celebrate his 12000 days birthday and I'm making a cake for him, plus a t-shirt with crystals on it (black crystals on a white t-shirt so it doesn't look girlie). I also have iron-ons with the numbers so may do something with those too.

Also on the way back on Monday, I am visiting a friend in RWB so I have to remember to take her and her son's bday presents with me. It's a lot to remember to take and I keep adding things to the list! :o

Now, either my maths is pretty terrible (which is highly likely :rotfl:) or that's not a "whole year" birthday, IYKWIM?! Is there a significance to the 12,000 days or is it just a good excuse for a knees up?! Either way I hope you have a great weekend! :)

You ladies are all making my envious of your progress, I have had a pretty poor July, fairly sure I've had more INs than OUTs this month and although I promise I am still showering twice a day, washing my hair regularly, taking my face off properly every night and applying lots of serum/eye cream/moisturiser, everything is still plodding along. Each night I'm picking up my HCC and hoping it'll feel light but oh no, still loads in there. I even stuck my finger nail down to the bottom of my moisturiser jar last night to see how much was left :rotfl: THAT'S how desperate I am for a UU :o

    Right, my INs:

10-13/156-159. Cussons Mum & Me Head to Toe Wash 500ml x 4 - free with MOCs so guilt-free but wholly unnecessary!

14/160. Matrix Biolage Hydrotherapy shampoo sachet

15/161. Matrix Biolage Hydrotherapy conditoner sachet

Ooh and a UU from earlier in the week that I forgot about til now:

32/177. Cussons Mum & Me Relax & Unwind Bath Soak 50ml - repurposed as shower gel and did the job but wouldn't go out of my way to buy again.

:rotfl: I do this! Don't know why really - even do it with my HG PCMC! - it's not like I want it to end, I just love having empties to put in recycling and there's a real sense of satisfaction in knowing the stash is reducing! I'm such a loser!!

FizzWhizz - don't get demotivated, I had a few shockers of months where my INs were on a par with my OUTs (or more), but then this month I've managed to make a lot of progress with sachets, minis and even full sizes that just got to the end. New month and clean slate tomorrow, start afresh then :)

Amen, sister ;) For me it's the EL Advanced Time Zone moisturiser which is my HG and I too will be gutted when it's gone, I just enjoy the whole process of putting it to one side and updating my stash when I have time. At least we have good company amongst all the other losers here :D I'm not tempted to go and buy so that's a definite positive :)

  • Hi All,

Not posted for a few days but back now!!!

SeasideDreamer - Congratulations on being Debt Free, it must be a wonderful feeling!

I have a couple of use ups to declare, 2 random bath bombs from Lush, unsure which ones the were but I have used ALL of my bath bomb stash now so the washbag they were being stored in has been washed and will be carbooted at some point! Also used up my Superdrug HCC, cut the tube open once it started spluttering and it lasted for ages afterwards! My facecream and eyecream are looking very low so hopefully will use those up over the next week, nice to look forward to starting a new pot from the stash, is that sad?!

Kadiston - I hope BF enjoys his party (although I too am intrigued by the 12000 days thing!!)

    Have a great day all
