Clutterfree I do indeed have a watermelon one that you are welcome to have, but I wont be able to post until next weekend as I'm at the seaside!
!!
I decided on keeping one of the strawberry ones for myself, but still have another strawberry one (the darker colour) if anyone is interested
KT2802 Do your primark wipes seem the same as normal?
Recently I've tried 2 of the different sorts and found them different, overly scented and not so good. I know for that price can't really complain, but I wound up using one pack for a plate painting "lesson" I gave, and have stashed 2 lots in the car and boat for when my dads been doing mechanically things. I'm trying to behave and move onto lessWhy they have to change things I don't know
seaside dreamer & Clutterfree - no allotment but I do have a veggie patch, well sort of, mines a bit of a grow plants in everything kind of style. I have pumpkins and courgettes growing in a old frame of a filing cabinet, and in the drawers, broad beans, sugar snap peas, and asparagus peas. Tomatillos and peppers growing in old wheel barrows. And this big old metal trough has spring onions. Loads of fruit growing around the place but most of that goes for wine supplies not eating.
I usually have a proper veggie patch too, both ground and raised, but damn bunny rabbits eat everythingand what with dad working in Germany we just never got round to sorting it this year. My last patch was gravelled and turned into parking spots for 2 boats and a trailer I've yet to been allocated my new place in the garden lol!
I also made a bit of an oopsy this year though and our seeds got left out in the rain so I had to plant EVERYTHING! I have so many wild white strawberry plants popping up it's insane, going to be swimming in the things next summer.
All the streets in my Avon round are around some allotments I am very jealous there seems to be such a sense of community, they are currently making a new parking area/entry, in it's really lovely to see all the people there chipping i
And finally back on topic :P an in
Face sun cream - not used one before!

Still to come are sweetcorn- no tassles yet on my patch, French beans, tomatoes, fennel, kohl rabi, cabbage if it survives the butterflies, squash and butternut squash!
What's your favorite things to grow?
I love seeing the little seedlings appear but am gutted when they die. Was so annoyed yesterday, a cat had dug up my leeks and poohed everywhere:eek::eek::eek:not to mention the bird carcas one left on the path:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: Still I spent the whole day down there yesterday and the weeding is almost done:)
We've had the sweetcorn tassles for about 2 weeks but was surprised to see the silks on the cobs already! They seem way ahead of last year but I guess that's because of all the sun.
We always grow butternut squash as we love them, but this year we have also tried a few new ones:
Turks turban, Honeybear, Crown Prince.
No idea on what they taste like, though!
Also growing, spinach, leeks, potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, dwarf green beans, spaghetti squash, yellow courgette, parsnips, beetroot, lettuce, spring onions, rocket along with the long finished strawberries, rhubarb and the new raspberries, blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry and gooseberry.
Didn't grow brassicas this year because they got decimated last year by the cabbage whites! This year seems to be the year of the slug! :mad:Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

Helllo All
Lovely day, but there may not be many more of them! Trying to get the garden up to scratch before the weather changes.
I'm so impressed by all the green fingered posters above! I'm too lazy to grow anything but shrubs and flowers, apart from some herbs which tend to look after themselves. The other thing my garden is full of is weeds! Just look away for amomen and they take over:eek:.
Anyhoo, I've 2 UU's to report - will have more tomorrow, but not to hand.
330 ml. REN Moroccan Rose Otto Sugar Scrub. Bought this with a voucher, and it's gorgeous. WBA if I could ever afford it!
I just realised I had counted the contents of a box of Fornum & Mason soaps my Sis gave me one year, but haven't kept track of the ones I've used! They are truly nice, and each one scents the bathroom when you put them out. Anyway, I've just used one up - there are only 2 to go!. Ah Well. Have a good evening, all.

You make it sound as though wine is a bad thing! :rotfl: I had a friend whose parents used the trimmings from runner beans to make wine, he assured me it was delicious but I remained unconvinced :undecided
Haha, a little wine is good... but we kind of made 270 bottles worth of wine last year....oops... lol.
Haha! yeah I'm not sure about that one!my dad has this book of all different wine recipes, for anything and everything you can think of... even one for tea leaf wine!! I do love tea.... it may have to happen....;)

Hello all,
Its been difficult keeping up as I have been busy with work and have had my head down. It is very nice to log onto the forum tonight and see other peoples UU's and news of allotments, veg patches and holiday plans! Much nicer than my study day which was as dull as dish water.
Here are my UU's
Vosene medicated shampoo 250ml. This bottle has been in my shower so long that the bottle has mould on it, I know totally disgusting. All attempts to remove the mould failed. This shampoo is great for when my fine long hair looks overloaded with conditioner that's too heavy. My hair looks shiny again. I can't recall why I bought it to start with, because I have never had dandruff. Anyway, I would buy again and already have another in my stash. It did a perfectly grand job when I washed my make up brushes with it. WBA.0 -
oops posted last post unfinished.
Other UU's as follows:-
Soap & Glory the Righteous Butter 150ml for dry skin. WNBA. This product has that characteristic soap and glory smell which is a bit sweet for me and I have come to really dislike it. I totally get it why for others this is a HG product. It left my skin in the best condition it has been in years and for that reason alone I was motivated to use it up. It was a gift I would never have chosen that smell for myself.
Simple Body wash 250ml. Does the job, not very exciting but does not make my skin itch and does not smell. Left my skin feeling fresh and clean. WBA.
Dr Bronner peppermint liquid soap. 60ml. This did a fantastic job of leaving my skin fresh and clean. It made my eyes sting when used too close to my head. WNBA in peppermint, have a small rose in my stash.
Neal's Yard Melissa Hand Polish 100g. This came in a gift set with hand cream and soap which is fantastic. As I did not really have a use for hand polish, I used this scrub textured polish on my feet. That worked a treat, my feet have less dry skin and I was able to finish a good quality product. WNBA unless it came in a set with the other Melissa products.
Neal's Yard Rose body cream 50ml. This cream was very thick and was probably too thick for my skin. It had a 'fatty' smell which was noticeable and the rose smell was very faint. I received this as a Christmas present last year so the cream was not old and loosing smell. WNBA personally, a good choice for a person who wants lightly scented products and has very dry skin.
IN to report:-
Neal's Yard Geranium & Orange hand cream 50ml free with mag. I love Neal's yard and did not want to pass this up
That's all for now
