You seem to be arguing with yourself as no one has contradicted your theories.
I suggest you go back and read the thread again. You seem to be so wrapped up in your own bile and self righteousness that you have lost the plot.
Once again your post is full of supposition and little fact, so, consider yourself corrected..

As you don't know you can't really say. However I'm willing to bet it will.
Does anyone know what this person is going on about?
All I can see is that they are wantonly disrupting the thread....whilst adding nothing of value.0 -

:rotfl::rotfl:Make sure your bedroom door is shut, we wouldn't want Matron finding out would we? :rotfl::rotfl:
??? Have you been drinking? Don't you have work tomorrow? You appear to have lost it completely. At least i understood half of what you were writing before, but now it appears to be complete nonsense.

you get the picture. Touch screen tech is good for mobiles, tablets and that ilk. what I question is its use, and moreover productivity in desktop/laptop markets because although I use two screens at work and think that's great productivity I have not been able to make that mental leap and visualise people eating bananas and lunch , pawing touch screens with grubby hands, and being productive... I think a mouse is the adequate and ideal solution.
I don't know why you even kept writing after admitting you know nothing about it. :rotfl: It's akin to someone who's never used Linux writing paragraphs about how Linux sucks because you're forced to use a command line interface and no games work on it and there's no 3D acceleration or support for Microsoft Office files so it's entirely useless. Just... why? (Oh, that's why)
And of course touchscreens aren't a replacement for a mouse (out of interest, who told you that they are? Where did this misunderstanding come from?). What they do is add a third control interface. There's the occasional day where I don't touch my screen at all, but sometimes it's just easier to jab at the thing you want to select. Keyboard+mouse+touchscreen >> Keyboard+mouse. It's not a huge improvement, but it's definitely an improvement.
By the way, like most people (I assume) I wash my hands, and I don't like the way you're purporting the stereotype of Linux users having poor personal hygiene.Q: What kind of discussions aren't allowed?
A: It goes without saying that this site's about MoneySaving.
Q: Why are some Board Guides sometimes unpleasant?
A: We very much hope this isn't the case. But if it is, please make sure you report this, as you would any other forum user's posts, to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.0 -
I just added 2 names to my ignore list. This topic is now a lot shorter but it makes much better sense.0

Have sent you a PM. Your Samsung has an official firmware update, though you may need to reinstall Windows in order to run it.
Though there is another option.0 -

you're right I've not used 8 much - I'm happy with 7 various VM's I used including Linux, does that mean I have one grubby hand and one non grubby hand?
your criticism on my not knowing much about windows 8 is much reduced in effectiveness because you cannot read or understand I was on about the convenience aspect of a touch screen - does that make you autistic as well as judgemental?
too much hate in this thread, said my piece, now I'm off.0 -

I'm sorry, you'll have to explain the "grubby hands" thing to me again if I misunderstood - who were you saying doesn't wash if it wasn't simply self-referential?Q: What kind of discussions aren't allowed?

Personally I'd be happy to try a new Windows version, on the same terms I can try a new Linux distro i.e. free0
