Well here we are again!! Answer to some previous questions, when the web site opens to book there is an option to tick box for European hols for 7 nights. Also when you get the confirmation letter through it's always British number and staff and you let them know about any alterations i.e upgrade to 3 beds and if you are going to arrive late or next day. LET THEM KNOW IN ADVANCE!!! It only takes a phonecall. Have previously done all above and had no problems EVER!! Don't ring the campsite or provider .ie. Europcamp/Canvas etc wait till you get confirmation letter and then call. You can even do it for any British campsite i.e. adjustments on the total invoice as have often taken off extras including entertainment passes as knew we were NEVER going to use them, so why pay and have taken off linen charge as always prefer to take own, as a couple of bedsheets, pillow cases take up no space in the car. Done many British and European with the Sun hols. Wait till Jan 2015 promo for extra dates for Easter 2015 as this promo offers early booking but Jan will give different dates often including the whole of Easter (if the campsite is open) and options available but remember NOT ALL dates AVAILABLE with ALL campsites.

If anyone is looking for a site in Devon, I can thouroughly reccomend Ruda Croyde Bay in Devon. It's a parkdean site. Stayed here recently for a sun 3 night fri - mon It's very close to the beach, a couple of lovely pubs and a great little village with a fab ice cream shop.We had glorious weather as well which helped.

It" s the second time we have stayed here with the sun.

Yes, we are going this October,- our second time with the sun. We stayed with Eurocamp last time and will be with key camp this time, though they are now one and the same company.

Caravan was fine. They are all basic spec vans, but they do the job. They always have decking with table and chairs.

We have also been with canvas holidays, not through the sun.
Dunirell is a great spot, as there are loads of places to visit from it, Amsterdam and Leidan being just two great places for a day trip.

Thanks for that. Did you drive from Calais? Have been told it's about 3 hour drive. Also are the kitchens well equipped for cooking?

We have done it a few different ways, but drove from Calais last time. The journey time was about 3 and a half hours, and very straightforward. We will be driving again this October,- taking eurotunnel this time.
We've also travelled Harwich to Hook of Holland on the overnight ferry, then it's just around 40 mins drive to the site.
Kitchens are well equipped, but remember there will only be a hob, and not a full oven. There will be a microwave as well.

I went to Duinrell for the May half term break with the Sun / Eurocamp, and there was a full oven in the caravans. However, there was no toaster ...

Unless your school holiday dates are different, the Easter holiday weeks are not covered at all. All you can get are 3 night holidays over the Easter period, which fall over a weekend.

Our schools break up on 27 March 2015. They go back on 13 April 2015.

The only Easter dates being offered by The Sun are the weekend of 27 March and the weekend off 10 April, but not the weeks in between. Neither the week commencing Monday 30 March nor the week commencing Monday 6 April are in the promotion.

Yes ours are different. We have off 3rd-17th April. So we can go on the second week beginning 13th.

Not been on one of these before, but have a priority code. Gonna try for skeggy butlins, but if we can't get in there, any recommendations for parks in the North Yorks or Durham or lake district areas?

    Cheers
