Hi all
I went to the beach yesterday and it was fantastic meeting up with family and just relaxing but on the downside I got sunburnt despite factor 50,000 & hiding behind a windbreaker. At least those of you who had to work (NSK) are not now slathering on aftersun lotion.

Spendy day as I have done the weekly shop and filled my car up. Got BBQ stuff in the shop and we had a lovely tea tonight in the garden.
Did a (very hot) run today, and have fitted my pedals on the bike ready for tomorrow. They seem very hard to click out of and I struggled practising whilst stationary and holding on to a garden chair. Gawd knows what it will be like on the road tomorrow.
Finally used the halfords voucher (2 years on) for some £10 bike sunglasses, so I don't have to look like a prat in my pre-LBM expensive aviators on the bike now!
Hope everyone has a had a lovely day in the sun..

Hi EVERYBODY!!!!
i am here at work - about to kick start the next crazy fews days... lots of food bought - still within food budget but with no time to prep ( too tired after another cycle on Friday) I was super lazy and went for a shop before work..
Took a friend with me cycling yesterday. He's been having a rough few months - so to celebrate his birthday I brought cake on our bike ride, candles and a wee gift to set him on his way. He was chuffed.
However no gym today or tomorrow and I am already having withdrawal symptoms - lol! Would rather be there than here... .
Anyway more later in the wee hours.....

Evening peeps!!!
SFD #13 here. I spent the day cleaning (including cleaning out the 1 week old oven...how long will that last I wonder? :rotfl:) and I did 5 hours ironing. I don't iron. Hate it. But it had gotten to the stage after 3-4 months that I & jelly were wearing the same 5 outfits over and over, as they were permanently on top of the ironing pile, got worn, washed, back on the pile again... Now my wardrobe is bursting and Jellys drawers have given up and spat out clothes all over the floor to be deposited in my wardrobe. Her clothes outnumber mine 4-1 at least. And I didn't buy 90%!
Dolly - I really do hate when people just assume that I have nothing better to do with my money than overpay them for a service they get paid well enough for anyway. I usually tip the nicer taxi drivers, but normally it costs about £4.80 and they get to keep 20p. Not 70p when the journey took half the usual time and was held up by the taxi driver himself! I don't tend to tip my hairdresser as it doesn't actually go to her, but her boss.
Unless 5 hours standing at an ironing board plus scrubbing kitchen & bathroom counts, today I did zero exercise.I literally have not a blinking penny left for the month after yesterdays exploits. It is complicated but I was paid a small amount on Thursday which was transferred straight to savings as it is 'next months' money. I have £33.03 in the bank, but on Monday my life insurance & that mouth ulcer thingy will come out and take it to zero, just as my wages hit the bank! But again, those are for next month so I can't touch them til Friday. YNAB is a real disciplinarian
Night all, sleep tight! xx

Afternoon all,
We're in that quiet lull before the new challenge stage again.
Today should be a SFD, although we are going to attempt to tame the garden with a very poor stock of blunt tools so may need to go to B&Q if we get stuck.
I've done a run the morning so that's another exercise session done

Hi all
I love a quiet Sunday with a good book & coffee - all free:). I made lasagne last night which will also do for tonight and I made pasta for lunch but doubled up the portion so that is lunch covered tmw. I had a SFD today and I should have 1 tmw.
I'm thinking of the next challenge and I so need to get the exercise started.
