The school where I went as a kid and the schools where I've taught have had various naming systems and I can switch between them easily. I usually use national curriculum year names when posting on a public forum, though, or when talking to my kids or to anyone else not specific to the school in question.
Yes Y13 is when they do A-levels, so upper sixth in old money.
My year group at school was about 70 girls and had six Rebeccas. Sarah wasn't particularly common, but it was coming into massive popularity around then - I remember when I was a teenager my mum said many times that almost every girl baby she heard about somebody having seemed to be called Sarah, so that fits with you being (I think) a little over 10 years younger than me.
Nowadays girls are mostly Emily, Ellie, and Olivia as well as the aforementioned variations on Isabel, while boys are overwhelmingly Oliver, William, Thomas, James and Charlie.
There were four Archies in DS year of 34 children at his last school!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I'm not worried. I've forgotten he has another name, most of the time. OH has been fielding loads of phone calls this week from extended family, mostly in Israel, and had to din the name "Daniel" into his head to reply to baby-based questions! (They all rang to wish him / us happy New Year, around the holiday)....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
When he's older he may well tell people he wants to be called kermie.
We've got a few pheasants moving in, funnily enough with the front lawn chickens. They'd be much more settled if they worked out to go round to the big chickens where there are more places to get out of human way. And fewer human things going on. They've been hanging around a few days now. I'd enjoy it if they stayed close.0 -

What needs doing?
Service + MOT
Brake Pads
2 x new tyres
Rear wheel alignment
I managed to negotiate the price down a bit. It's still rather a lot of money. I'm trying to think of it in terms of £ per month since I last splashed out on the car. And it'll get a wash and a clean inside.
I've also pointed out there are a couple of stone chips to the bonnet paintrwork, and a bit of a dent at the back (I think someone must have gone into the car in a car park as I definitely don't remember doing anything that would have caused it).
On the plus side, I've learnt how to open the car windows using the key fob from the outside of the car!
A very cute Westie has just been brought into the showroom by its owner too0 -
Westie is now sprawled out on the floor having a nap0

Yeah, tyres wear out ... I calculated once that, for the car I was driving, it was costing 1p/mile for tyres.0
