Fir loves kippers. I'm more of a mackeral gal. Fishy breakfasts are amazing. I also adore kedgeree, for breakfast or supper. Its a good way to feel you are eating really rather splendidly indeed for really not very much money.0

Kedgeree is a favourite. It's particularly good if you poach the fish in milk in the oven as the rice is cooking.0 -

I plugged in a new phone and it "knew" the date and time without me helping. Turns out caller ID gives that information and sends it to the phone with the first call received.

Sorry, as in breakfast fish of the type one doesn't poach in fish.hot smoked fish. And 'too much' spice. Its a fragrant delight and non fish eaters like it and non curry eaters like it ( despite there being more spices than in some of my curries) and children like it and adults like it. Its just a pretty unbeatable meal really.

I dislike the thought of "a whole fish that looks like a fish, especially still with its head on". Whitebait is simply a whole plate of those! Never tried it, it grosses me out even thinking of what it looks like.
I've never had kedgeree - I'm sure I'd love it, but I've just never ever been anywhere where it's been on offer. So never seen it - just seen it on the telly and in cookery books and on the Internet.0 -
I took the shears out, round the base of the shed, to keep the grass there super-short.... and ended up using the pointy bit of one half of the shears to dig out a dozen or so weeds from the lawn.
Gardening like a pro!
Patio's looking naked without the big table, as I put it away ..... not getting it out again, it's big and impractical to start carting in/out the shed just because the sun's out/not. I'd rather go without for a week of good weather, than wake up to find it wet and in the rain and for it to then rain for two weeks while I stared at it and thought "wish I'd put you in the shed while it was still dry"0
