It is so lucky none of you live near us. There is the shouting, squealing with laughter, threats, blows and curses...and once DW calms down the kids start.....
Reminds me of when DW and I went for a short ride on my son's tandem. I was on the front, but for some reason the back of the bike was making a terrible shrieking noise. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

We all do it. It's something to do with typing. The homophones get mixed up. I don't make the same mistakes when writing by hand. You are not alone! No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Our neighbours in Norfolk have a trampoline. It's quite fun waving to the kids over breakfast. Every few seconds for the first minute or two, and then it starts to pall. But it is quite sweet watching the kids appear and disappear. They don't keep it up for very long.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

I have to say I am with pn on this. I think its a privacy thing. Though, of the parents are happy to have the kids bouncing outside and peering in to DH and I bouncing inside over the breakfast table, well.....their lookout I guess.0 -
How can they tell? Does this kind of info come from an amnio? I never had an amnio and never had twins either, so don't know these things.
I'm not entirely sure but I think it's because they each had a yolk sac and there are separate placentas whereas identical ones share the same placenta and yolk sac. They have been different sizes throughout as well. No-one ever said how they can tell, but everyone says they are fraternal!0 -
Lydia there's a wireless version of that printer for £5 more.
Oooh thanks. As well as being made of water, the full and large moon will mean it's lighter overnight. I'm sure the water is the dominant effect though.
Maybe I'm being dim here, but why would the water in us be any more affected by the moon than the rest of what's in us?One of the things that I love about Aus is that people enjoy the sound of kids playing.
Agree with PN that the most probable reason for this is your sparser population density.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Tbh, so long as they are well and mrs chewy is well and coping, that's what matters most...for now.0 -

I have nearly organised the three main curries. Left the house at 8.30 this morning to get to Selfridges for the Krispy Kremes, then guided by a friend to corner shop in Balsall heath for ghee.
What kind of curry requires Krispy Kremes as an ingredient?“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
