The little man should be a qualified electrician, really.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

We once looked at a house with a plug socket on the outside wall. Problem was, it was just an interior socket with some of that plastic trunking running to it:eek:.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Really should be getting on with some work, but procrastinating, as just can't be ar5ed tonight.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

In which case I'd be inclined to switch off TV for a couple of minutes - the "box" stuff inside it might need to reboot.
Let us know how it goes! Sometimes it feels like everything electrical goes down at the same time here - very annoying. OH tells me the fire alarm in the music room has dead battery, so it keeps chirping. Today he bought a new 9 volt battery for it (it's hard wired, but has battery in case power goes off, and it bloody chirps all the time when the internal battery is dead grrr). He unpacked the shopping when he got home, and now can't find where he put the battery! Now's when I need the rolls eyes smilie! :rotfl: He is getting terribly absent minded, it's a bit worrying.0 -

Not been watching the car bits .... not sure if there's one or two blokes with a Ferrari.... certainly one of them runs a Rent a Posh Car business, so just needs the money to fund his new e-cigarette distribution business and won't need that Ferrari until summer (when it makes him the most money).0 -

My tv is doing a weird thing. What ever channel I press on remote it goes to channel 43. It only also lets me watch bbc 1 I think, or perhaps a challenge in the twenties, maybe 26. To watch another channel I have to select it by scrolling through the peg, which is very hard to read on this tv, so not an easy by pass to the tv's temper tantrum.
Any ideas?
That sounds like the start of the Outer Limits credits. The Control Voice will let you watch other channels after an hour.:)There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

LOL .. how can she discuss her Camel Toe business plans with her dad... had to laugh when he said it would "fill a gap".....
Ah I suppose that makes sense. I dont understand why the woman who looks like Janet street porter after £50,000 of plastic surgery doesn't just sell her bags.
Looking around for stuff to stick on our walls at the moment. This seems reasonably priced:

I watched the Rocketeer. Have seen it several times before, but still enjoyed it.
For the second week in a row I though "I'm sure I recognise that actor". In the Rocketeer, Howard Hughes was played by Terry O'Quinn, who played Locke in Lost and more recently Joe in Hawaii Five-0. Last week it was the publicist in Romancing the Stone who now plays Evelyn Harper in Two and a Half Men.
It's strange when you haven't caught much of their work in the intervening 20-30 years. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Does it?
I know this guy. And some of his subjects. Not sure how much he char he's. Not into photography so not sure of the merits. I find some of his stuff pleasing. Particularly close ups of derelict lux. Its just not an art form I relate to personally though.
