It says convenient for train station. What it doesn't tell you is that you are about 20ft away from the London-Manchester fast line and that you will never be able to open your windows, nor that said trains run all day and for much of the night.

( for someone as tight as me this is actually painful and has resulted in tears. RP just doesn't get it)
I feel your pain. I have been known to sit with no lights on if I am reading the kindle.:o
But it's still way better than my clunky old Huawei G300 which only delivers a text message if I hand-write it, stick it on with a post-it note and throw the whole thing at the recipient as accurately as I can manage.:(
Zag, you are so funny sometimes:D0 -

I've had the same mobile number since 87 or 88, can't remember. It's very sad, but if you meet someone else with an 0(7)860 number, it's a talking point:o0 -
I've just fed the little dog. Considering she's quite old, it's amazing how much energy she puts into looking excited at meal times. It's not just her tail wagging. It's more that her tail stays still, and the whole dog wags. Plus runs in circles. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Sounds like RP. But I still love the sound of her.

I read that Robin Williams was very shy as a child. I wonder if you can ever really stop being shy at heart? If not, can you imagine the internal stresses his chosen career path must have caused? It would be enough, and more, to turn a man to drink.
I'm plagued by terrible shyness, I battled to overcome it when in my teens and appeared to have done so (only appeared though, everyone thought I was uber confident when in fact I was a quivering pot of jelly). Fast forward to when I had my breakdown and I would rather hide away than be in the spot light and no amount of bravado could cover it.
In the sport I am involved with, my nickname is well known worldwide but me as a person and what I look like, is not....and that suits me absolutely perfectly, I can wander around the tracks and virtually no begger knows who I am, completely incognito. That way, I can be who I like online with my very confident, jokey persona whilst also hiding away in public with my more real, completely unconfident, private and more serious persona.
Best of both worlds really. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I have an aged iphone 4. I can assure you it is dreadful. I have low usage of my phone. I am not sure if it is because I am also a luddite or if it is because this thing is so awful and as Vodafone have no signal where we live I just have no hope.
A NP sent me a text today. I only got when I drove 5 miles to the Vets to pick up the dog's wormer.
Ever cloud has a silver lining...no worms...no text received yet.
I have an iphone 4S, which is only marginally different from the iphone 4 (I think SIRI is the key difference). I use it constantly. I would suggest that the signal strength is your problem not the phone.
Cheapest solution for you would be to ask Vodafone to unlock it, which should be free but can take a week or so. Then get a SIM only deal from a network that does give you a decent signal.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
