I can't help feeling this bravado is not grounded in your now mortgaged, need a better paying job , slug watching, in law visiting current life.
I also expect Mrs Chewie is not aware..or your knee might take a lot longer to recover.
Obviously I'm talking about the good old days* about 10 years ago.
* = strictly speaking the use of the plural here is justified. Just about.0 -

I am occupied over lunch time but will finish about 2.30pm. I will be near Russell Sq if that means anything?
That means quite a lot to me - you are just down the road from Chez NDG! Down a fairly long road, it's true, but still pretty close.

Very best of luck, Chewy.
Did you get the results from the hospital tests you and Mrs Chewy were having? Hope all is going well.I think they're here till Sunday ...
As for cuddling Kermie, [this tablet keeps autocorrecting it to Kermit!] every project needs someone to do the QA / 'snagging list'. You'll have a vital role.
I will "supervise", then!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Mel scars are often long and visible, that in itself is not a big issue, the skin is taken out with wide margins around it. The fact that melanoma has spread is, imo, unfortunate and from what I know if it chemo is unusual as a course of action for most patients. However - and I cannot stress this enough - I am not a doctor. I am just someone who spent a year and a half waiting for a diagnosis while hanging out on a melanoma forum.
Fwiw, if I was in your friend's position, or the relative, I'd just want to know my friend was there for me, rather than wanting to go into any detail about what's going on. The turmoil in your brain is enough without having to explain what it all means to everyone. Just say you are there for them whatever the situation, the rest doesn't need to be said. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

We were back in the hospital this morning as it happens. Everything seems to be in the right place...so hopefully there will be a positive update soon!0 -
