When you think your husband is fast asleep in bed, then a rousing chorus of Erasure starts up from the karaoke happening at the house next door...

Three songs in a row and counting. All gay anthems.

I think we may have inadvertently married the, same person.

A few years back, Kylie was supported at a new years concert by Bjorn Again. He wondered why he was being hit on by so many gay guys. I did say that singing "give me give me give me a man after midnight" at the top of your lungs is not a great idea when you are a gay magnet.

    What time did they finish?

If you really really hate the taps, then replace them. Yes, it will cost a little money, but you will be able to use the sink without being infuriated every time.
It's not just the taps though, it's the sink..... with the pop up metal piece in the hole all the time. Give me a good old fashioned plughole and plug any time. And it's two sinks and two sets of taps.

Hot here - apparently 25.9 degrees C and 59% humidity indoors. Similar outdoors.

    Time for a quiz:

    I got France.

    I got France too.
Obviously the destination of choice for a NP European meet up

Oh Pastures, so sad to hear that. :(

In the end, the top was 100% restored to its former glory. I managed to wash out every trace of dye bleed entirely.... and it's dried and hanging on my clothes rail ready to face another day :) It took some perseverance, but once I could see I was making a difference, I kept going.

Thought in view of the ongoing discussion about Ebola I'd recommend ProMED-mail to you all.
HUUUGE email .... I won't subscribe. Can you just give me the heads up when it hits my region and I'll pop out to Lidl and stock up on stuff :)

It is. As are the pull out side tables.
I actually went looking for bedside cabinets. Couldn't find any suitable/I liked. Saw the bed, with the drawer & pull out tables/cabinets & really liked it.
It was £100 more. They knocked £100 off, so I started saving. They then had an extra 20% off weekend (which knocked another £100 off!) so I went for it. With the mattress to, got a proper result!

It does sound like a really good result. However, I notice that Michaels has not thanked your post. This could be because your purchase did not involve the use of vouchers. Very keen on vouchers is our Michaels. Or perhaps you needed to pay with American Express?
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Just saw this on the "what did you have for dinner?" thread and thought of Nikkster:

Courgette pasta. Really thrifty especially if you grow your own courgettes.
Fried onion and garlic, add a tin of anchovies and the oil. Three grated courgettes. Stirred through spaghetti.
(although I'd leave out the anchovies .... never had one, so wouldn't start putting it into what sounds like a nice meal without it).

Can you take the pop out waste out? Usually they just lift out.

Anchovies are one of the greats. They give Worcestershire sauce its flavour.

They are particularly good with roast lamb. If I wasn't such an idiot we'd be having shoulder of lamb with garlic, rosemary and anchovies for dinner tonight. Instead the shoulder of lamb remains in the freezer and I remain in the dog house.

    Lol!

I'm not sure when they finished. I fell asleep after YMCA. Glad he didn't mention it to me as I'd be ruined today. I heard the door slam at some point, I think he's passed out on the sofa. For future reference, He drank more than a 2 litre microbrewery style bottle of beer before he disappeared.
