I love the watermelon salad that you did, and it just so happens that I have a watermelon in at the moment.
Really kind of you to think of me.
ETA... found it:

Thanks again lir.
Its a big improvement on mine. We still have mine if I haven't faffed with the onions. We went on a crazed thing with a Jamie Oliver fifteen minute meal at one point, I made it about seven times. ( very atypical for me) this we've done about four times and I'd do for the drunk weekend but one of the blighters doesn't eat cheese.0 -

I love a home grown courgette me. Thin slices done with a spud peeler and covered in olive oil, lemon juice and salt for an hour or two before eating. That gets a nom every time. It's so, so good with brand new courgettes.
Marrows are fit for the compost heap.
I saw Nigel slater thinly longways slice courgettes and eat them lightly saut!ed with pesto. DElicious. I still do that sometimes. So simple, but just lovely.
I love courgettes, one of my favourite veg.
One of my favourite Milan ( chain) bakeries.....NOW in London!!!! Does the most delicious courgette pizza too, no tomato.
I do actually have one way of doing marrow is quite like. I stuff it with minced lamb, dried fruits, lots of spice, whether I mix myself or use something like ras al hanout , some rice. Harissa could be good.
Its a sort of summer ritual.0 -

I sent an email to my hair dresser last night saying I was too tired to deal with my hair now. He's just replied saying he'll shuffle stuff and I should come in today as its been too long since he saw me anyway. I think I'm going to let him chop some.0

Something "odd" this morning. Both my gates were open, that means somebody's "taken a short cut" through my garden overnight. Shed's not been touched (it doesn't lock, but I'd set the catches to a particular position and my bike's still there) .... but somebody, for whatever reason they chose, has clearly gone all the way through.
So, gates/bolts are now top priority.
Today I should get phone/broadband connected.0 -
Excellent news Gen....and that would do my head in PN, so get those locks asap please. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
I went back to the hematologist today and I'm now officially In Remission with a 20-30% chance of a recurrence. Those odds aren't that bad considering my age and how common lymphomas are anyway.
:j Excellent news! :j
