    Hi there all NSDers:hello:

Has been too long getting back into the thread but I think I have caught up, what a busy month everyone has had! Still I'm back at work proper now and I guess the joys of night shifts mean I can catch up :rotfl:

First off well done on all the NSDs coming in for everyone :j

Knit Witch- What a legend- really inspiring :T
Nargle- I love the Igor updates :rotfl:
Marmite- Thank you for all the updating and the pictures, you do have a beautiful cat. I understand the re evaluation thingy, I seem to be coping okay so far with the change I,'ve had but I have managed to get in some overtime each month so far so we will see.
Donna- I'm glad the op went okay and well done on the insurance :T
Cw- I always know you did too much!! Hope the wrist is on the mend.
Sazzie- I hope things are getting better.
Newbie Josh- well done on getting into an MSE way of life early on :T

Well, I was away at the beginning of the month and hadn't planned to spend but did (only small amounts) but only managed one, I managed another my first four days back at work and got two in while I was at my mum's last week and with one yesterday I have managed a total of 5 so far. Struggling a bit as the fridge still isn't working but I don't drink milk anyway anymore so am managing but having to freeze everything which I sometimes forget to get out before I need it.

Will be checking in again tomorrow but think I may be running out of cat food- if I am I will try to be a bit more organised with shopping than I have been of late as I really do want to get to my target this month to get me ready for doing it again next month. I have been out of the NSD way for far too long and it has been showing!! With the new work pattern I can get onsite for my four shifts on (I don't use the computer at home on work days as I need to sleep) and check in more on my off days too- I have really missed you all :kisses:

See you all tomorrow xxx :hello::hello:

    No time for that :D
Tomorrow and Thursday I need to dejunk a bedroom ready for 3 girls (3, 9 and a week of 11) over the weekend, scrub the family bathroom (don't know what DS1 does in there, but he definitely doesn't clean up after himself - and the girls will be sharing it with him so needs doing), and move all my holiday stuff out of the living room.
I've also got fracture clinic at 8:40 on Thursday morning (first time at local one) which will involve waiting around for fresh x-rays. Planning on running down (3rd run of week, did 2.8 miles yesterday and 3.1 today), but will walk back unless weather cools drastically by then.
Friday I'm getting bus and trains to DD's to collect 2 eldest GDs and bring them back on trains and bus.
And I also need to sort out a q&e tea for 6 for Friday, and one I can prepare ahead for Saturday (we're out all day) - not easy given how fussy my GDs are allowed to get away with being at home :o
Then Liverpool for the day on Saturday, entertaining girls on Sunday (OH & youngest leave by lunch time), and taking GDs home by bus/train on Monday. Back to hospital on Tuesday for breast screening, into city centre on Wednesday for contact lens check up, possibly fracture clinic again on Thursday, and pack before OH and youngest come back on Friday evening ready for going away the following Monday (which involves me and girls on trains while OH drives up with luggage and then collects us from the train station after unloading - this not being able to drive is right royal pain in the proverbial :().
Away until the following Saturday, and have Clubc@rd vouchers to pay for 2 days out while we're there. The 2 other full days will be out walking.
I can chill a bit when we get back from that, and hopefully the cast will be about to come off then too :)

    And today was NSD #11

Looking forward to snaffling another NSD tomorrow as I will be at work, and the spendy demons can't get me there.......

Right, Igor, now the Roman baths are spotless, you can check on how the home-brew is coming along....you are joking, aren't you? You mean to say that Hubert is still treading those grapes??? That means only nine days in which to ferment it, clear it and bottle it? What kind of gut rot are you trying to serve up? I think, unless we want the NSD gang to go down with the galloping trots, a trip to the off licence might be in order....

:hello::hello: Big hello all NSDers xxx

    Awww thank you Kerri :happyhear

Wow!! Fed up and Knit Witch.............it's only the 22nd and you have both done so many!!!!!!! Well done :T:T

Cw...........I had forgotten how exhausted I got just reading your posts:rotfl::rotfl:I need to go for a lie down now:D

Well, I did need cat food so not an NSD day for me, I get paid on Friday so need to do an organised shop and not get caught out like I have been doing so that will be a spendy day, I'm also due to be meeting a friend for coffee that day but if I remember rightly it's her turn ;). I think Monday will be spendy too but hopefully I can still get the target (and some practice) in by the 31st.

Keep going all xxxx See you tomorrow :hello::hello:

Hello all you weird and wonderful people

WARNING - This will be a long one!

I have clearly lost my MoneySavingMojo :(

I have not posted since the 16th, where I claimed number 8.

From memory (which is a little blurred due to number of hours I have spent working - exhausted & stressed does not cover it!)

    I think ..

17th - was NSD #9 (on basis it was a late one at work)

18th - was a bust (splurged on a cider from supermarket & bought a couple of second hand wedding things for cheap)

19th - was another bust (saw friends for a tea & orange juice - what a spendthrift! AND bought 2 cards for various things THEN spent the day helping future BIL move so ALSO went for cheapy meal out with OH, naughty :( )

20th - don't think we did anything...I was wedding crafting so must have been NSD #10

21st - definitely NSD #11 (again so late at work nowhere to spend!)

    22nd - definitely NSD #12 (see above & repeat!)

That brings me to today. And based on this I have only 1 spendy day left for the month. That will be tough as we are running out of food BUT we also have no money left to buy food OR petrol OR anything else in fact...apart from £15 plus change in my purse which I think should go to this months overspend on credit card (petrol is a b***h!)

At least I can call today as we got food out yesterday for today so shop can wait ... that makes NSD #13 in the bag

Must do better next month...especially as next month is going to be really tight...so many things on (all for different people we feel obliged to see because we haven't in so long)...housewarming party, christening, retirement, 30th birthday, graduation party...how do you choose what to say yes to and what to say 'sorry we really can't afford it this month' to!?
