So, maybe taking away the 100 x 99p listings a month may have been a boo boo.....

Thanks Soolin. It does seem strange that if Private sellers are limited to 100 per month, then why offer this to private sellers, which is says it is a reward to?0

The person asking the question though would surely know if they have a shop, or perhaps they omitted that bit of info when they asked about being restricted to 100.
Also, worth noting for new sellers generally that opening a shop does not automatically mean you will be allowed to list 100 items- any new seller restrictions will still be in place. The seller boards are full of unhappy Sellers who have done just that.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It looks like it will be conserving buyers for the big shop sellers who manage their own customer service and throwing the odd fish for the private sellers to keep them buying. Not a bad strategy for Ebay not much good for me..0 -
Thanks All for your help and advice.
I am a private seller with the normal 20 free listings per month and no shop. I have been on EBay a while, selling for the last year or so and have rating of 102* 100% Feedback, so not new. My monthly selling allowance is 100 listings
As already mentioned by others here, there have been a couple of 100 free listings already this month, which I have made the most of, so am up to the limit.
This EBay reward is 200 free listings for private sellers.
The general limit for private sellers is 100 as Soolin says.
When try to upload a new item EBay says I have "exceeded the number of items you can list" = 100
What I'm trying to figure out is how to use (if I can) the other 100 free listings? What is the point of giving private sellers 200 free listings if they can only use 100 of them? If I had no items for sale at the moment, I would still only be able to list 100 out of the 200 I am being given?
Am I missing something here? :think::think::think::think:
I'm a little confused :huh::huh::huh::huh::huh: But thanks all for your help0 -

You are no more confused than the rest of us. The free listings are to be used up to your overall limit , if you have used them then there are no further ones available to you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Not everyone has selling limits. I don't that i'm aware of, the last time they offered 200 listing I think I used about 170 and I had used 100 on a different FLW that month too so went over 200 listings that month.0

Only newer sellers have limits, the rest of us are free as birds....as long as our enthusiasm holds out to list :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
