So, maybe taking away the 100 x 99p listings a month may have been a boo boo.....

I think this is a reward for the password reset and the issues with that rather than them realising they're not offering enough free listings and suddenly giving 200. They don't normally say free listings are a reward and as a way to say thankyou.
I'm a private seller, but I don't have this reward.0 -
I'm getting 'Oops! Google Chrome could not find https://www.ebay.co.uk
Try reloading: https://www.!ebay.!co.!uk' and the same when I try to log into my hotmail account too.
So I can't do anything including posting items I sold last night

Right, I have this, but have got up to my normal 100 listings and EBay is saying that I have reached my selling allowance at 100. Just wondering how I can actually use these if you cannot go over the 100? Perhaps it is split 100 June and 100 July?0

I am a small private seller and in all the years Iv used ebay ALL the paypal cash I get from selling is respent on ebay, mostly to business sellers.
If I dont sell off our old stuff, there is no paypal money for me to spend on ebay.
I cant afford to risk paying 35p per listing to try to get rid of stuff, since Im a small private seller, there is not even a guarantee that anyone will even see my items given how the ebay search "works" by manipulating results.
Without free listing days, most private sellers would never generate any real cash, and without any cash, most private sellers would spend a lot less on eBay."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

Business sellers are also buyers, and with high fees, the new 'defect' rules, enforced managed returns, 90 day returns, and plummeting sales, we could also do with some help. You're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -

just subscribe to the featured store. 1000+ listings free.
Alternatively just list on 2 private accounts taking advantage of the FLW's.(and if its a new private account you get to re-list for free 3 times)
the smallest shop subscription is not worth the money.0 -
So, if you are a private seller with a 100 selling allowance limit, how do you use this for the full 200? Does this offer actually work?0

If you are a new seller then ebay have restrictions on the number you can list. This has nothing to do with the free events at all- if you read the terms and conditions somewhere it will say something like 'up to your limit'.
If you are normally allowed to list 100 a month in total, that will be it- whether free or paid for. You can apply to have your limits lifted though.
No private seller currently gets 100 free listings a month without using FLW- so be careful how you read and interpret the details you see.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm susprised you got 100 listings a month if you ar enew. the t and cs of this assumes you only get 10
If you registered after 15 March 2011 or haven't listed any items for a while, you may have a listing allowance of 10 items per month or of £650 per month, whichever is reached first. You may be able to increase this allowance by providing additional verification.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
