With jam I usually use a sieve lined with muslin and a wooden spoon to push it all through :)

Is it wrong, I kept a lot of the muslin squares in those '£1' baby packs for exactly this? :o

OMG genius!!! Would that really work? Do you think one sheet folded over a couple of times and then gathered at the top and clamped over a bowl would work?

Also look out in Ts for demonstrators with new Tabasco sauces

They have 80p off vouchers, so you can get 2 for 40p if you can pick up a few.

For the nervous among you they had cold chips in little pots for you to dip in the sauce - just imagine how many others have dipped their chip in, taken a mouthful & re-dipped...

I agree. People stuck to the t&c's of APG but were still criticised for posting their results.

So my point is people picking up other people on something that might happen in the future. As I pointed out Morrisons/Sun may change the t&c's if they run it again based on what happened this time.

I wasn't around for the big @ glitch. But what did that enatil? Was it APG related? Did it have any adverse effects afterwards?

I appreciate what you are saying - but with the big APG results posted the problem wasn't to do with the T&C's, it was the fact that the price comparisons were incorrect and resulted in a big APG when it wasn't correct. Also, the T&C's weren't always stuck to - quite a few people on here (and I am not pointing the finger - indeed, I am not blameless myself !) have more than one email addy and also are unable to remember their correct post codes (if you get my drift).

The Big Glitch was crazy, the multibuy wrong comparisons meant loads of expensive stuff was costing peanuts and giving huge APG's. It did have an impact as Asda HQ threw a fit and stopped it all - quite possibly they took note of the mountains of nearly free goodies that were posted online. There were also various restrictions placed on APG usage, some of which were later relaxed, and instore staff got very suspicious of anyone producing an APG. Far too much unwanted attention from the staff !

Congrats to all who got Morries vouchers yesterday, I was snowed with work and missed it all! Serves me right!

Anyway, I always save all my jars (cant bear to throw them away) and was planning to (eventually) post them on Freecycle. If anyone is around Evesham or Warwick (where I work), I'd love to see them go to a good home

PM me if anyone is interested

I have a garden, which I love and have 4 strawberry plants in a tub. Garden is clay and doesn't drain, wet in winter and dries out solid in Summer.
Have had a couple of sumps put in which helps a little. So have to be careful what I plant.
Not many strawberries from 4 plants, but last week picked 10, took them to mum's and told her they were her Wimbledon strawberries and would cost £12, which she thought was funny :rotfl:once I explained that's how much they charge.

Glad your toothy is felling better tweets :T also hissing down here.

I have to go for check up on crown in 3 weeks but sure it will be ok :T

I have been and made my bed with nice fresh smelling bedding. Wish I could change duvet cover quick tried all ways and I always struggle :D

My mum used to use an upside down stool with nails hammered into the legs to hold the muslin up :) We used to have great fun as kids pushing the fruit through :D She's been using a jam maker recently that I got her last year as it limits the amount of each type made (although she does still has the stools, they make an appearance every Xmas to squeeze us all in around the tables :rotfl:)

Wow, love this, it sounds amazing :D
