    With jam I usually use a sieve lined with muslin and a wooden spoon to push it all through :)

    I thought forcing it through made it go cloudy? I don't mind cloudy, I just don't like lumps or pips in my jam :o

    Afternoon tweets glad the tooth is feeling better:)I am feeling annoyed went to the doctors and they said I was not booked in today:eek:I am very particular about appointments an it is in my diary and also on the wall calender after a lot of discussion they have booked me in for this afternoon.The thing that uplifted me was getting my hair done the full works:Tso back out again now to see the Doctor and a trip to Morries with Lala:)

    This has happened 5 times in the last year with me and Dr's app: I was insulted the first time, by the 5th I was a mad woman. Twice I had the little scrap of paper with app; day & time written by the receptionist. It takes 8 to 10wks for an app: with our Dr. so I know when I've made one.
    Glad you got yours for later today, I've not been so lucky :(

    OMG genius!!! Would that really work? Do you think one sheet folded over a couple of times and then gathered at the top and clamped over a bowl would work?

    Absolutely :)

    They have 80p off vouchers, so you can get 2 for 40p if you can pick up a few.

    For the nervous among you they had cold chips in little pots for you to dip in the sauce - just imagine how many others have dipped their chip in, taken a mouthful & re-dipped...

    Ewwwwwwww :eek::(

    Afternoon boys and girls :D

    Training this morning was horrendous. I don't know how I stayed awake :eek:

    But I did get my dirty sausage and bacon sandwich :j :j

    All this jam making has got me wondering. How many oranges would I need to make marmalade? I'd want it fairly bitter and very chunky :D

    I could do a general citrus marmalade too :D
