twinkle40 you say your daughters on low rate in that case then she would not be entitled to any tax credit enhanced payment this only kicks in on middle or high rate DLA care.
Might be worth as suggested ringing to ensure you have been getting the right amount of tax credit and they don't think you are getting the middle or high rate.

The disability premium on child tax credits is for any child on any rate of DLA or registered blind. You also get a higher payment if the child is high rate care.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

They can take longer if they need to contact anyone listed on the forms for medical evidence.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

I applied for DLA for my son and sent the form back on August the 11th. I know they can take a while to process but should I have received an acknowledgement as I haven't received anything.0

We are still waiting to hear re a mandatory reconsideration for one of my identical twins. She went from high/high to outright refusal whilst her twin stayed on high/high. Our renewal date was January, we had the results on different days at the end of February and our reconsideration request went in around 7th March.
I held off telling Child Tax Credits as they quoted me a 10-12 week window and I thought we had a good chance of getting at least a level of dla reinstituted and if we didn't it wouldn't be a huge period for which we had to pay the money back. However when it came to the July renewal without a decision I obviously had to tell them. All that child's tax credit entitlement has been removed dating from the renewal time in January and we are receiving a much lower rate now to pay that money back. If the mandatory reconsideration (or indeed any subsequent appeal) goes in our favour then the money will be backdated to the January date. They won't keep paying you while you await a decision if you inform them.0 -
Bargainsthatsme, contact them to check they have. The one time I didn't receive a confirmation the forms had got lost in the post. It's possible that because they are snowed under they haven't fully processed them yet but if they haven't been received you will obviously need to send them again. I have always photocopied the forms before I sent them but now I always send them registered post as well.0

I've just spoken to the dla office who has told me that mandatory reconsiderations are currently taking a minimum of 26 weeks, but they are still looking at reconsiderations from January!
The most helpful thing she could say to me was that everybody else is in the same boat as I am.0
