    .....I did read something about a huge fire at the business park where the company is based - has anyone heard from eggxactly recently?

    There was a big fire in Staines in December.

    One account says;

    The fire’s cause remains unclear, but several businesses have been virtually destroyed by the fire, including Eggxactly Ltd,

    Does this mean that a lot of their equipment got "frlied"?

    Possibly not all, I am sure the fire-fighters used their eggxtinguishers to save some of the stock.

    Only just discovered this thread and amazed people actually received their cookers

    I ordered one as soon as I received the email back in 2013 and still waiting

    I think their stock got fried so you've no chance of getting a cooker.

    Well I started the day assuming I wouldn't be getting one so guess I'll be finishing it in the same position lol

  • I decided to go see them today on the off chance they're still around as I still really want my egg cooker. Stainton House looks borderline derelict although after speaking to a neighbour someone is apparently still there, I put a note through the door and emailed the support email address at the same time to hopefully get an answer as to when I can expect my egg cooker. The mention of a fire may apply to the opposite industrial estate but the registered office shows no signs of having burned. I'm a bit gutted as I've followed them for a long time and was really looking forward to getting one, pretty much accepted that's not going to happen, 30 sovs well spent I guess

    I emailed them a couple of weeks ago, after I found this thread.

    Sadly, not heard anything back so looks like I'm not going to get my egg cooker or my money back :(

    So, I did get mine, back in November. Anyway after relatively light use its broken. Obviously I have tried to send it back under the warranty but, surprise surprise, no responses from the customer service dream team. frankly, if you haven't had yours you are not missing out... Complete waste of effort.
