I'm so stressed out, please can someone advise me.
My sons mates are all going to T in the Park, so as a end of exam treat I bought him a ticket this evening. I did it through Ticketmaster and made an account in his name with his email, bought the ticket with my debit card for £200+ and stupidly didn't note the reference number.
A while later I asked him if he had the confirmation email yet, then discovered his email ends in .co.uk and I had registered it as a .com. I tried to log on to the account to change it but it is now saying I'm using the wrong password (I'm sure I'm not) and the only option is to say forgotten password to get them to email a new one....but ofc that's the wrong email.
I tried to register the email I used but it belongs to someone else.
I'm worried now that someone has got an email about this ticket and changed my account password because I can't log on.
I rang my bank and as it's a debit card the payment has gone through.
I had booked for the ticket to be posted but could someone log on and print it instead?
Ticketmaster are closed until tomorrow, and when I ring I won't have a booking reference number. I don't think I will sleep tonight, it was an expensive present and I'm worried I've lost it. Will I be able to sort this out? Please can someone tell me if they think it will be ok?

Have you tried the password with the first letter upper case/ a number at the end etc?
Try not to worry, I'm sure TM will have come across this before and will be able to help.0 -

Ask your bank if there is a reference number associated with the payment?
Or (as hard as it is) wait until tomorrow and ticketmaster will be able to look it up - i've yet to come across a system that can only find information based on one parameter (ie booking reference).
Do T in the Park do e-tickets now? I thought it was always actual tickets?
As for password, have you checked your caps/num lock? Or function key (fn key on my wireless keyboard activates num lock - as there is no number pad and numbers are instead on the alphabet keys). You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
Thanks for replies. I've tried the caps on and off but it still doesn't work.
I'm not sure if they do etickets specifically for t in the park, but on the Ticketmaster site they talk about printing tickets. I hope someone can't log on and get the tickets sent to a different address to the billing one.0 -

In my experience (and I have seen plenty of T in the park tickets), its always an actual ticket you're sent and they're not issued until a two weeks before the event.
You put them around your neck like an ID badge. I live close by to the venue (have attended myself many moons ago and regularly drop off/pick up friends/family if they go) and I've never seen 1 person without one.You keep using that word. Just looked on the T in the Park website and it says this:When will I receive my ticket?
Tickets will not be issued until approximately two weeks before the event. If you have any queries regarding the distribution of your ticket, please refer back to your point of purchase.
Are there going to be names on tickets? What happens if I can't go and want to give it to someone else?
All tickets will have the name of the individual who paid for the tickets on them. We assume you will only be purchasing tickets for yourself, but if someone else paid for your ticket (i.e. your mum or dad) we will expect you to know their contact details and address. Please bring photographic ID* with you as we will be doing spot checks on tickets and if you do not know the details of the person who paid for your ticket you run the risk of being ejected from the site.
ETA: OP if he has an expensive smartphone, I'd also advise using an old one or getting a cheap one for that weekend only - as people seem to lose them left right and centre. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
OP did you manage to get this sorted with ticketmaster? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0
