Haven't posted this week - have flown a little totally off list as have had one of those stupidly busy weeks where I've hardly even gone on my laptop, let alone followed thread :(

Husband is currently on a plane to Saudi - which necessitated him leaving home about 4.30am:eek::eek: I'm therefore a little tired, especially as DS3 decided to come in my bed at 7, having wet himself in his (only the 3rd time ever (he's 5) so I can't complain)
WM now on with 2nd load - I may see if I can get a 3rd one done. DW to be emptied in a mo. A sort of ratatouille with a small amount of chicken thrown in has been made for later. Freezer half tidied and inventoried, ironing hung and bread got ready for a walk down the canal later to hopefully find some ducks and swans :D

DD has a job interview (at the Golden Arches) this afternoon, so that'll take an hour out ferrying her there and back. The interview itself is only 30mins so I won't come home in between (hence the hour out in total) - I shall leave DS2 & DS3 under DS1's charge, take a book and a drink and sit in the car / on a bench and wait for her - take some time out after a manic week! :D:T She's finished school for the SUmmer now until 6th form starts, so she needs something to do! :D

DH isn't home until Thurs night and I'd like to make some visible progress in the house whilst he's away - in some ways it's easier when he's not here, as I can get things out and make a bigger mess to really clear a mess (iyswim?) - he hates that, so 'bottoming out' is rarely achieved :(

On that note - I'm going to tackle the cupboard of doom under the stairs as I can get some of it on eb@y today under the free listings! :D:j

Back later - hope you're all having fantastic weather - we have all week (but that means watering the garden is now an added chore!!!:rotfl:)

    xx

Took DD2 to drumming practice and then to her drumming show. Also collected my dad's meds from @sda and dropped them to my parents on the way. My mum had made us sandwiches as we didn't know how long the show would be :)
Home now, having a cold drink before going back into the garden  I hate the garden :(

I did the ironing and I've washed the winter coats, they are out on the line. They are clogging up the coat pegs so I'll put them away somewhere tonight. Have a few bits for the loft so they might go up there.

Went to the village fete / scarecrow trail for a couple of hours. Some fab scarecrows. Someone had made an "angry bird" and a giant catapult, hilarious. There were several superheroes, Elsa, one pulling a moonie and a first aid scout group! Icecreams were had plus a ride on a miniature train :)

Just sat in the garden now, chilling out.

Had to give DS a time out as this weekend has just got the better of him. He's not great at dealing with excitement, bless him. But he's come out now in a better mood and being nicer to his sister.

They will need tidy time in the conservatory before bath - cars and trains and marbles a-plenty!

Not bad at all. Once I cool down I'm going to swap the washing over, and go wipe the bathroom floor, then some skirting boards :D I need a good run on paperwork tomorrow (Avon have made a mistake again  ) so I want as much of the cleaning done today as possible as its my very busy week of work.

Ex just text to say they're staying for tea at his parents so DD will be home around 10ish :D That's fine by me as she's ready for school except for printing some homework out & getting her packed lunch done, just means no TV for her in the morning either ;):D

    See you later

Well, I strimmed and raked up the front garden, backs killing me now so I've stopped :( Hopefully by tomorrow whatever I didn't manage to cut will have perked back up so I can go over it again. Garden waste bin is almost full.
2 more loads of washing done and on the airer and DW loaded. That's my lot, had enough now

Phew. Anyone joining me for a brew? :)

I've fed, bathed and combed (!) the littlies, then put to bed. Both scalps meet the flylady standard :p

Following that I've put the garden stuff away, brought in the washing and picnic blanket, done lots of picking up and rehoming, emptied and reloaded DW, put recycling out, swept the garage rug and generally straightened the whole downstairs.

And now I'm going to stop! cuppa time!

I've a bit of laundry to put away upstairs and get uniforms out, but other than that we are ready (in the practical sense, if not in the emotional sense!) for a new week. Emotionally, yet not practically, I am ready for my next holiday! ;)

So peaceful sat here in the conservatory. I have moved the bird feeder from the apple tree (just encourages the squirrels, and it's fruiting now) to the arch we are *supposed* to be growing climbers over. It's nice because I can see the birds now - couple of finches and a robin keep visiting! So that's my entertainment tonight!
