Not much done here really
DD1's boyfriend and I cut our back hedge, killed my back. Then the 3 of us sorted out some on the shed. Loads of stuff in there left by the ex before the exhusband
so found the welder and grinder that I've given to DD1's BF. I'm going to ask our friend down the road if he wants any of the tools and stuff as I don't need them then the rest can go to the tip
I went shopping with DD1 & BF, she's been paid so wanted some new summer clothes. She also brought me a replacement Chamilia bracelet (and new charm), the one the girls got me for mothers day was far too big.
Tomorrow DD2 has a drumming show but after that I'll be back in the garden, if my back will allow me0 -
Not much done today. Another university crossed off the list.
DH held the fort and did 2xwm and dried on the whirley.0 -
I have found a key in the garden - on the veg patch. Very cruddy and rusty; clearly been out there some time.
Scarily it WORKS IN THE BACK DOOR LOCK
I cannot remember losing one; we had the lock replaced after my bag was stolen.
Anyway - I now have another spare key...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hiya everyone :hello:wendywitch wrote: »Loads of stuff in there left by the ex before the exhusband

Perhaps you might find the time to have a look on the net and find somewhere to recycle the tools. It seems a shame just to bury them in land-fill. Lots of eco-groups take tools and get them back to 'nearly new' condition and give them to social groups doing work for the elderly etc. Some send them to third world organisations to support local people needing tools but without funds to buy them. Just an idea - hope you don't mind
If it's gone I've done it or don't have one
Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
all done
Tuesday - Living room, Hall
all done
Wednesday - Master Bedroom and Landing
all done
Thursday - Bathrooms
all done
Friday - spare room/room of Doom
30 minutes to spare
Hoover floor
Got an hour
Wipe the skirting boards
Wash an item of soft furnishings
Clear then dust a flat surface (or 2)
Had a really busy day. Did quick S&S in the kitchen after brecky and made the bed. Put away all the clean washing from yesterday and tidied bathroom.
Cleared hotspot of post on kitchen table and similar hotspot on dining table that had collected through the week
Did my Spanish lesson, cooked and ate lunch and did the WUDUPA. Started a batch of yoghurt and watered the boxes on the balcony. Then ....
'She entered the Room of Doom and .....'
Hurrah - braved it and two hours later
The bed-settee has re-appeared, been hoovered and cushioned.
Empty boxes have been re-housed in the recycling bin
Bubble-wrap, wrapping paper and spare envelopes put away
Painting gear put away in cupboard - TIDILY !!
Files re-organised on shelves not floor
Waste paper and newspapers boxed ready for re-cycle
Paperwork to be sorted neatly stacked
Private stuff to be shredded stacked by shredder
Scrap paper sorted onto clips
Result - all paperwork to be sorted in one corner next to desk which atm is empty ready to be utilised. I can see most of the floor and it can get dusted and swept tomorrow while DH at work in the morning :T
Then I had a cuppa and did two MS jobs which were on-line and postal. Filled in the reports, prepared DH dinner and served it, made and had my tea and potted the yoghurt. Then I cleared the kitchen again and sat down - bit tired now :rotfl:
Hope you all have a super Sunday

Good morning!
Just in the conservatory playing "marble madness" lol. Lots of squealing going on (not me).
Will make some brekki soon. I have ironing and meal planning to do today and want to strip and remake my bed. We might have an hour or two out as well.
Really ought to put a whites wash on as well...Bossymoo

Morning flyladies. Up early today as we're off the cinema to see Chef courtesy of MSE thread. Probably the best place for me to be given how bad hayfever is at the moment.
It's our last day off from the paid stuff so on the way home we're going to stop off at our favourite pub for a Sunday lunch, then relax in the garden for the rest of the day.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
Lynne sounds like you had a good day.
Cricket whites washed and dried over night for today's matches, both back in action.
I want to get the front garden jobs finished this morning and get the bathroom cleaned. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Up very early today, I've WU, had breakfast while reading a magazine (the peace of 7am on a Sunday morning is unbelievable!), HHI, both beds are stripped, DD's bed is remade, I'm bathed and dressed, DD is just getting out the bath in theory (just yelled at her to get a move on again as she's going out at 10am!), flags down, and I've downloaded some bits to tweek my window since England are out of the World Cup.
I spent too long to wash it all off so going to do something else instead
Plan today:
Put shopping away (due to be delivered before 11am)
Go and pick up a customers late order
Laundry
Ironing
Maybe some baking
Window tweek
Vacuum right through
Clean bathroom
Clean the brass on the front door
Clean the kitchen
Mop the kitchen floor
Wash the sofa cover which DD has gotten pen on
And I have no idea what else as I don't know how long DD will be out for, nor do I have any idea how long that little lot will take me :rotfl:
Off to nag DD again, she still needs to apply liberal amounts of suncream :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Two loads on line and DW run and emptied and ironing done (from yesterday) all on cheap rate electricity..
Have to go - I'm on a deadline!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
