We've been boot polishing tonight. It' armed forces day tomorrow and both of them are in displays. Boots, parade shoes and No. 1s are all shiny. DD is nervous, DS hasn't even mentioned it!
I need to get to DD smothered in sun cream bright and early so it doesn't mark her kit.
Have a lovely, lovely weekend flyladies :)

    Hiya everyone :hello:

Evening all - hope everyone is ok.

Just wanted to share a proud teacher moment with you all ....

Today we had a 'School's Got Talent' show and I entered 5 of my class as a group to perform a little dance / movement piece that we've been doing as part of one of our lessons. They were the youngest of all 19 acts (in fact, there were only 2 other entries from Primary, all the rest were 11 + ).

So, 5 children aged 5 to 7 all with learning difficulties and autism performed without any adult support in front of the rest of the school and lots of parents and ................

    came 2nd!!! :j:T:j:T Amazing!! :D:D So proud!

Congratulation - well done

    Tuesday - Living room, Hall

Well done to your group, Froddy :J
GWS (get well shoulder) vibes to your DS3, mumto5.

Minimal flying here except by lapwings, curlews and larks :). We ate a picnic tea up on the moors yesterday evening - absolutely wonderful. Saw 2 hares too. Train journey to Carlisle today and weather forecast is good. Whatever has happened to the English summer?

I spent what was left of the evening making greetings cards.

Bossy, my Dh fell over and hurt his knee yesterday (might have been something to do with a half of Black Sheep with lunch) but is definitely not wearing shorts today - the world is a better place for not seeing his legs.

dGS1 is 6 today, so I must phone him before they go off to the coast.

Hope everyone has a good day. Hugs, spoons and sticks to all x

I'm getting fed up of waking up at 6am every morning, whether I need to or not
Haven't done much yet, DD1 & boyfriend are still in bed and I'm too kind to disturb them :p
Cats fed, dog let out and chameleon's lights on. One's blown so DD1's going to be really happy :( Kiwi (chameleon) seems to have grown over night  and she's starting to look more like a boy  She's meant to be a girl!:mad:
WM on, by the time that's done the stuff I forgot to get in yesterday will be dry again :o only damp from over night.
I think DD1 & boyfriend are dog sitting today (elderly dog can't be left too long) so I expect it'll be down to me to go and buy a new green bulb.
Not sure when DD2 will be back from her friends today, hopefully not too late as she has a British Legion open day thing with the band on Sunday and I can't have her ratty and tired for that :(

    Morning all

Welcome Elsie, lsts will appear next week a day at a time. For your first week see what you achieve from each day's lists but NO carrying over to the next day. You are unlikely to do it all in week one but in time you will.

Frizzle - it will never end!

WM on, DS1 awaken and away, D3 to get up now for cricket training. I'm off to the shower and will plan my day once back.

    Lovely news Froddington :D

Have been playing in the paddling pool and sand pit in the back garden with the kids all morning. I am very aware of them being really pale Ds2 looks like the milky bar kid minus the glasses so we are in now to cool down.

I need to do Hhi and I really need a nap this heat is knocking me out its lovely lol.

I am just about to hoover up the crumbs and clean the table from lunch then tale them upstairs to try and have a hour.

Afternoon all. I've had a very quick read through so well done to all teachers and their classes, have a great day to everyone going out and about or staying home to enjoy the lovely weather, hope all injuries improve soon, and welcome any newbies.

This morning has been taken up with doing a big shop. I've just had lunch, washing is in the machine (last of the catch up loads) and my plan now is to wash up, then plant up 6 fuschias that I bought this morning for £2 (total, not each, really pleased with my bargain).

I have some clothes to put away, and soap dispensers to refill but will probably just sit out in the sun with the papers. And DH and I are going out tonight.
Spend less now, work less later.
