I've done a little HH in the front garden, wow it is hot out there, that bit is south facing.

Cleaned my WM filter and drawer - DS3 came into the kitchen and said what is thta vile smell, it was rank. Going to put cat bedding on to wash and then run it through on a ho cleaning wash.

DS3 wants to go back to cricket soon so I'm going to take the KS duvets into the laundrette and hope the big machines are free to wash them.

    Congratulations to Team Frodders.

We've flown at the chalet. OH cut the grass, trimmed the hedge at the front and the bush by the gate as the ndn usually does it for us but is having chemo (get well vibes for him, please - lovely man). I tied back the scrambling honeysuckle, treated the ring marks on a chest of drawers (grr), put all the clean laundry away and spoke to the parents (other chalet owners) whose broods are using it over the next three weeks. *kerching*
    Better is good enough.

Duvets done and in the garden, so all four winter ones have now been washed. just having a cuppa before heading back to cricket. Would sit in the garden but kids out on both sides making a right racket, must be getting old and grumpy!

    Evening all.

Not done much today except had a lovely lie in :p We've whacked a load of cuddly toys in the WM earlier and DD has pegged them on the maiden to finish airing/drying. I've also put DDs blouses back in to soak with stain remover as they still had a green tinge to them from the aftersun she's been using. However I'm getting a 'second wind' so I'm going to get stuck in and get some jobs crossed off my lists. ;)

Here is where I currently stand:

    Personal for week
    DIY list

    Change out moisture traps
    Menu plan
    Mr A shop.

    30 minutes to spare
    Hoover and mop the floor
    Got an hour
Clean the WM filters and drawer
    Wash the window

    Tuesday - Living room, Hall
    30 minutes to spare
Dust the electricals, front, back, sides and underneath
    Hoover the floor

    Got an hour
    Wipe some paintwork, skirting boards

    Wednesday - Master Bedroom
    30 minutes to spare
Hoover the stairs, landing and bedroom
    Wipe the window ledges
    Got an hour
    Dust any dusty bits

    Thursday - Bathrooms
    30 minutes to spare
    Hoover and wipe the floor

    30 minutes to spare
    Hoover floor
    Got an hour
    Wipe the skirting boards
Clear then dust a flat surface (or 2)

Find a new recipe to use

Right, I better get moving! Going for a HHC and will drag DD along to help since I've been helping her with her homework :rotfl:

Hiya! We've just got home, littlies in bath. What a glorious day. Trip to the farm with our WAY friends (including, sadly, another new member and his daughter) about an hour looking at animals and 5 in playgrounds and picnicing :o but all the kiddies had a ball.

DS limped upstairs to the bath so he's been told to bog off, he's been up rope ladders, through tunnels, and doing cartwheels today. He can ditch the poorly knee act ;) :rotfl:

Will give them supper shortly then it's away to bed. There is a scarecrow festival nearby tomorrow so we may pop out for a wander.

Feel like I need a bath myself!

My bedroom is tidy as is the livingroom, laundry sorted, winter stuff in bags put away in DD's wardrobe, DD has dusted, WM on with whites, DD's sunburn scab cleaned up a bit more (fluff etc is sticking to it so I'm having to gently clean it each day to try and avoid infection where it keeps splitting due to its location :(), DD's baseball cap soaking as its got horrible black stains all over the supposedly white bit, TD doing a delicate cycle on the cuddly toys in the hopes they'll dry completely and I'm pondering whether I've remembered everything for the Mr A delivery. :rotfl:

Now I need to sort out something for tea and I haven't got a clue what to make :o This is why I've started meal planning again lol Best shift myself, and see what I can find lurking in the cupboards/freezer.

I've run out of fabric softener - anything I can use instead?

Dusty - hope DS3 isn't in too much pain; ditto Iona's DH

    Welcome Elsie

My throat's still sore so, if it's no better in the morning, I think I'll go to the walk in treatment centre and see if it is an infection.

I've spent most of the day on the sofa dozing on and off but did manage to make a phone call that was needed.

Hope everyone managed to enjoy some sunshine today x

white vinegar? (yuk) hair conditioner? Nothing because the residue from the build up is plenty?

Froddy - you can use vinegar instead of Fabric softener.

Had a nice few hours sitting at the cricket, DS1 batted the best he ever has for the first team so was a happy bunny. He is bringing DS3 back in a bit.

Garden watered (front) and dinner had.

Going to get Duvets in for the night and water the back garden then a touch of ironing.
