Curry's poor service and attitude

Currys/ PCWorld have an issue with staff attitude and unhelpfulness - read previous posts regarding a microwave of mine on this subject !
When their shop floor staff are treated like s**t, like they are, then it's hardly surprising. Paid a pittance, treated unfairly, etc... it's comes as no surprise that you get an unhelpful attitude.
I received a similar poor experience with my faulty microwave. However in their defence, I will say that after three unsuccessful attempts to repair it they finally agreed to a full refund. At this point I did get a very helpful and pleasant member of staff. So they are not all bad. In fact I felt sorry for this woman as she said to me that she would probably get into trouble for giving me full refund.
Whilst you have been subjected to poor customer service, I would say that if they have offered you £50 towards a new compatible printer, then that's probably not a bad result. Interested to know what the result of the court case is.
I can recommend John Lewis for all electrical goods - went there to get my new replacement microwave. Excellent customer service, helpful staff. Many people think they are dearer than other retailers - not always so. My Samsung microwave was dearer in Argos and other leading stores.
