    She should tell her brother.

If I found out that a 'mate' of mine was harassing my sister, I'd knock his block off.

Thank you everyone for your advice. Its good to hear your experiences and that you got away from it.

She doesnt have a driving licence, nor a car. I can drive but dont have a car. If this gets worse I might be forced to buy a car and drive her to work myself. But she said she doesnt want that. And I hope it wont be necessary.

About the blocking his emails thing, she has stopped reading them quite awhile ago, she just ignores it. I read them (she is fine with that) to check, not sure what Im checking exactly. How far gone he is into his delusional fantasies I guess.

Good that this helped you :)
I just wonder if the police will take it seriously, as its just text and calls?

It's NOT just texts and calls, though, is it? He's admitted that he's been fixated with the woman for over six years and he's relocated his whole life by hundreds of miles, just so that he can be near her. Plus who knows what else?

I know it's so easy to think along the lines of "this is daft; no-one's going to take me seriously..." but, based on what you have already said on this thread thus far, I think that the Police will take this seriously (they should).

Please do take the excellent advice offered by other posters and get this reported, in full, NOW. Believe me when I say that, if something does happen to tip him even further, the rest of your life is a long, long time in which to have to look back with hindsight and think "IF ONLY we'd said something sooner..."

This isn't a clingy, lovesick, pup. This is someone capable of planning and acting on a strategy to be near her regardless of cost and inconvenience to himself. He needs help and your friend needs to be safe from his attentions.

Edit:- BitterandTwisted: Just seen that I've posted virtually identical stuff to you! Sorry about that; I didn't read the posts after the OP's comment that I quoted above! :o I promise it's just a coincidence... :o:o

Seriously OP; get this reported - and DO save the emails and texts (if you can, save the emails onto a memory stick that you can take to the Police). This really does have to stop; he is not simply going to get bored and give up.

Maybe get big bro to let it slip in conversation that she has moved back to near where the family live?! obviously a few weeks later if she decides that she is moving to Sydney or somewhere like that then it would only be fair to let him know this information ;)

on a more sensible note, please let the police know about this man

One thing that hasnt been mentioned is social media. Im assuming you and your friend are 20 something ladies, probably with instagram fb etc, I would check and double check your privacy settings for anything like that. Something as simple as a friend checking you in at a pub,bar shopping centre etc. On fb there is a setting that you have to approve any check in or photo etc. I wish you both luck there is some good advice on here x
