Sounds like ordinary service to me! :) Well done for slug collecting for lovely girls - although bleurgh :X :D
  • I've never really felt sad for slugs but I did today.

Although its for the best, its hard to collect them so readily - pesky things why can't they just run away?

    Waves to cheery.

So thats some stale bread and a cupasoup for lunch eaten (I know how to live)

One and a half fence panels painted

    18 eggs boxed for collection.

I just need to skoot about and get the washing organised and go and do some painting.

    Cuppa first though eh?

Someones reminded me I forgot to invoice them (email went into spam.....) doh -well that's a £50 bonus when its done eh?

Always pays to check your spam filters.

Are your slugs doing your head in, Pippi? Poor you, poor slugs :rotfl: they're *meant* to be eaten by things like chickens, don't worry! And you need them gone from your patio if you've got that many, thats for sure

KC's quite right - they're MEANT to be eaten by birds, that's why they go so slowly :D

I'll send some of mine up in an envelope for your girls :D

(actually, even thinking about that is disgusting, sorry!!)

Sorry hens me heid is still a bit minced up.

 Greying ponders on whether Dear Pippi's thread has actually been hacked into, by alien imposters........ Pipster the wellie wearing Queen of all botanicals that she surveys, feeling sorry for slugs! Oh dear, oh dear oh dear oh dear..........Something just really isn't quite, right.........

I prescribe tea and posh biscuits and don't stint on the biscuits....... :D

Cheery I'll decline the slugs in the mail thanks for the thought :)

RT - :) you do make me giggle as does KC and you're all perfectly right - hens eat slugs.

Mincey alien head here :) maybe I've been hacked into eh?

Yesterday was busy and productive. Hens are now fed (more slugs :() and rampaging through the garden for a bit munching grass and creating havoc. Now the gates up they can amble about for a bit each day.

Today, bright start but its a nip in the air. Hens fed, dogs had a stretch too and are now looking very sleepy.

Some work, some chores and get planning travel for a conference tomorrow in Glasgow.

No rest for the wicked. I hope you're all grand and have some bright skies where you are.

Meal plan got a bit swapped we had noodles and left over pork. Quite impressed with coop on offer pork shoulder, picked out a pound and a half of leftover meat (we had it as roast on sunday), meats all bagged up now and ready for freezing in two people portions.

    :)

Off to seize the day and all that, or at least the kettle.

    Happy Tuesday folks.
