Unfortunately our bit of the farm does not include a veggi patch:(

Just realized I've got some lupin seeds kept from last year's plants - would you like some posted up to you? - no clue if they will grow but might be fun to try!

Hey there Mrs what accounts form do you use again? Is it free and easy I do like the one I found, but now I think of it maybe you suggested it? :rotfl:
    :T

I use just plain old excel. I have one set up for incomings, two for outgoings, then a summary page which takes the totals from each of those pages and brings them together. That gives me total incomings, total outgoings, in/out broken down into the different SE streams, and also broken down into the categories the Tax Form ask for so I can literally just copy the figures over. Also tells me if I've made a profit or not and how much.

Took a while to set up but now it's done it's idiot proof :rotfl:

It's so lovely popping in here to see it's been busy.

Any news on the desk you were bidding on? Sounds like a good plan for treats. I wonder if I can guess what TRG is having as his treat?? :rotfl:

Overpaying the mortgage sounds a good plan too.

Sounds like you've been very productive in the garden too.

Are you going awau end of the month or just having some time off??

I'm using a free download one in excel too - http://www.easyaccountancy.co.uk/resources/free-bookkeeping-template-software.html

So far its idiot proof for me to use but waiting to see if they update it for 2016/17

Thank you yes its lovely isn't it and yes you can guess what he got can't you (two treats one for each leg, second treat another baby for his music room)

Desk I'm currently the highest bidder - but we'll see how much it jumps up. There is anohter one buy it now which is now cheaper and its not quite as nice but still lovely. We'll see how silly this one goes.

And thank you the end of the month I'm just here - and I can't wait. Then my hours drop down to 3 days so I'm 3 days out 4 days here (some working) some not.

I'm feeling as if we're nearly at a 'point' where I can plan for things I can sell online as the stocks increase and planting things I know I can start to sell next year too. I think if I keep the garden work up and again reduce hours in May I can start selling April/May - if I'm at the garden I certainly can't start dispatching before April - its just too busy.

Although now we've finished online dispatch there - its propagation time too. Trying to find a balance between a bit of self employed contracting and my own stuff.

    Not written for ages either.

    Morning lands.

  • Aw that's lovely Cheery thank you. Lack of working routine and head space has been to blame. I'm hoping to get into a great new routine.

I have news of 5 pallets at the local ironmongers for grabs - worth a trip out me thinks.

Oh dear I came home via the coop and teh garden centre.

A box of easter eggs (59p) worthy of an easter egg hunt fell out of the car as did some reduced meatballs (90% pork, 69p) and some lettuce (full price for the girls who've laid an egg today).

I accidentally took ownership of two 10ft+ eucalyptus trees too.

First of the wedding trees to make it home - woo hoo.

Back to the thesis I think I've done enough damage for one day.
